We only tried two items, and they were very good, but they have so many other tasty looking items I would love to come back and try. I had the matcha madness and my partner had the matcha hot chocolate. I loved the flavors in the matcha madness, but it was a bit messy. I feel like I'd rather order just a matcha or just the ice cream, because of how filling it was. It's not a huge inside seating area, but I think it works for shorter visits.
I’ve been coming here for the Ube milk cake and matcha latte because their matcha is high quality, but today’s experience was extremely disappointing. One of our black sesame matchas came with almost no black sesame, and when I asked if they could add the powder—because it looked totally different from the one I had last time—I even showed a picture as a reference. The staff told me it “can’t be done” and acted like nothing was wrong, saying “it can look like that; all baristas are different.” Only after I opened my friend’s drink and showed them the obvious difference did they suddenly agree to add it. Denying the mistake, refusing to fix it, and not offering a simple apology is just rude. Unfortunately, this might be my last visit.
My go-to matcha location! I love their flavored matcha lattes, especially banana
Actually quite a fan of these desserts - feel like I’ve been looking for matcha-themed desserts in Chicago for a while, and this perfectly hit the spot! The taiyaki was good, matcha flavor was solid - only reservation is that it’s quite expensive ($9.5 before tax and tip). However, I do think that the quality is very good, so I would come back when I am in Chinatown again.
Waited 20 mins for a simple matcha latte and it was unremarkable. They didn’t even close the lid correctly so it ended up being a mess. Good thing I don’t live here to see this joint another day.
The Matcha ice cream is incredible
I like the ice cream but didn't like the tayikai fish cone at all. Service wasn't the best here either.
A must have for all matcha lovers!!! It’s so pure and delicious matcha. Mildly sweet and bitter. Their parfait is the best! Super popular and it’s hard to get a seat. But their service is quick and they also validate parking if you spend more than 25 dollars.
I ordered Matcha Crepe online and it was amazing! The package, the dressing, the taste, the texture, everything was so good!
The matcha mochi was amazing! Unfortunately, the ice cream machine wasn't working. The matcha with cream brulee was decent, nothing special.

I had the ube towel cake and the oreo milk tea which took like 20 minutes to wait for. the ube towel cake was bland and the milk tea was literally just milk with oreo pieces stuck to the sides of the cup. i was so excited to try this place and left super disappointed
The crème brûlée toping is another level of divine. Genuinely sooooooo bustastic. Only tweak I’d ask for is more boba. Regardless drink was soooooo divine. Would totally rec for Chicago Chinatown.

My go to spot for Matcha on the daily. That's it.
I got the matcha/vanilla ice cream. It was great! Unfortunately the service was not very friendly and the front was unattended when I arrived, there was only a party of two seated when I walked in and I had to wait a couple of minutes until someone came in from the back to help me with my order.
