I've only been in here a few times, but I have enjoyed the vibe. It is especially fun to sit at the window that faces Lawrence and Pulaski for excellent people-watching. It's a rather basic Chicago bar with drink selections and prices one would expect for a place of this size. It's certainly a "regulars'" bar, but we always feel welcome. We laughed at ourselves this summer for finally figuring out the significance of the "L&P" moniker! I guess we had just never devoted much thought to it!

Worst experience I’ve had at a bar. Rude employees and manager. Came back to order an Uber and glass of water in -10 degrees. Told us no and to go outside. Physically kicked us outside. Never had an experience like that. It as ridiculous

I always come here between 5-7pm, They have Good customer service, well priced drinks. And super nice bartenders. There’s also a pool table, 5 TVS to watch sports and a music box :)

Went to watch NBA playoffs. Bartender was hot and professional polite. Mood and decor dark, tasteful, subdued, pleasant. 4 TV, pool table, attached to liquor store on corner of Lawrence and Pulaski. Since 420 lounge closed, closest alcohol to admiral theater nearby. Extra European flavor from regulars.
