Used to work in the area and lived this place for burritos. Happened to be in the area and stopped by to get a Al Pastor burrito. Amazing as always but it cost a total of more than 17$ . That's ridiculous. I understand that food cost have sky rocketed but way overpriced. Unfortunately that will be the last time I visit L' Patron.

I have been going to this place since they were on Diversey and California. I haven’t been there in a while but I’ve been craving the Steak burrito! So I went there the other day!!! Wow how have they cut down on the meat!!! I ordered what I was craving a steak burrito and it was hands down unsatisfactory. I took it to go and when I opened it and took a bite of it!!! It was almost all lettuce!! Barely no steak!!! I was so disappointed!!! I was like that commercial where’s the steak!! I paid almost $20 for lettuce!!! I guess in the beginning it was a good portion of meat!! But they must see it as they built their clientele and now they hold back on the meat!!! I will not be going back! Although the meat is good but for $20 and almost all lettuce!!!! I rather go somewhere else where they don’t hold back and give you what you pay for!! I would have just ordered a veggie burrito oppose of a burrito with meat!!! It’s a shame but again they must be doing good to cut back on what got them to where they are!!! Taconazo here I come!!
If i can put no starts i would!!! I use to come to this place since it was on Diversey & California. The food was very good quality and reasonably priced. Once you moved to Fullerton i continued to purchase food but i started noticing the change in quality over the years . Yesterday i ordered a Burrito and the price was outrageous ($17)which was filled with mostly lettuce on top of that you also added an inflation fee to my bill that i was not aware of until reviewing my receipt . I also notice you are charging $7 for a taco which is crazy , its a shame because i really liked this place but after yesterday i will not be returning or recommending it to anyone.

I am so SAD! We have been long time regulars but tonight that came to an end. I called in an order only to be told that all of the items we usually order are no longer on the menu. Their menu online still lists the old items we loved. (In particular fish tacos). I decided to give it a try and order a vegetarian burrito and a shrimp burrito. We added on chips and guacamole. The total came to $47.48. Hardly any shrimp in the $18 burrito and I am disappointed to say that the price is no longer worth what you get.
Photo of our receipt and the new menu that’s in the restaurant. RIP to an old neighborhood favorite.
Horrible place we placed a order had us sitting there for like 40 minutes then go tell us the item we order the tortilla was no good really it takes that long horrible never again and tthe funny part was not that it was not busy
I ordered catering for my son’s graduation party and the food was a huge hit! All of our guest were asking where I got it from. We got the carne asada, al pastor, chile Reyes and arroz. All SO delicious! 10/10

Overrated, not worth the price. I would say go for the experience but the establishment has you order the good and pick up at the counter. The food was soft but lacked flavor, room temperature also. Picked up the food seconds after it was ready for pick up.
Older Puerto Rican influencer sent me off here

Best steak tacos I've ever had. Period.
The shrimp Diabla tacos were always wonderfully tasty.
They only take cash or online order so keep that in mind. The food takes a little longer than what you might expect for a taco spot (my order was 8 tacos with rice/beans that took roughly 25 minute) but the wait is probably a result of the food being made to order and easily worth the delay. Also homemade corn tortillas give them a pillowy texture that's both sweet/savory.

This used to be the place to go. Food has gotten worse. Pricers higher and charge you more at the register versus the menu. Yeah sure there's an asterisk saying prices change. UPDATE YOUR MENU. Plus an inflation fee of 2.85%. Not worth it anymore.

Been a longtime supporter of L Patron for close to a decade. Came back into town and ordered a chicken torta and it was not as remembered. Very disappointing. Still a beautiful restaurant and friendly staff.
