We had a really nice visit here last night. The ambiance is really fun and it was lively here even on a Monday. We shared the breads and spreads, tuna tartare which were delicious. The only reason for lowering from 5 stars was due to service. They were overly attentive to a point where it was really weird and disruptive to the dinner. It was just 2 of us and they were constantly fussing to give us fresh plates even though we said we didn't need them, i believe the manager came by to chat with us and she was sweet but again, just a lot to take in and she later came to pour water in my actual white wine glass vs water glass. So it was just unnecessary attention

Exceptional greek inspired dishes. Atmosphere is really special and inviting. The service was perfect, not too pushy. Most importantly the food surprised me and the place exceeded my expectation. I have been to Greece and they did a fantastic job bringing me back to those memories.

I really enjoy Lyra! Went on a weekend late night for a bachelorette and loved the sparklers close to midnight and they brought out a treat for the bachelorette! Such a great vibe any time of day.

I had dinner here as a post Chicago Marathon celebratory dinner and it was perfect. The meal was literally one of the best meals I've ever had, my waiter (I can't remember his name I'm so sorry) was amazing. He took the time to explain the menu to me and he gave me his recommendations - which I definitely took. I ordered the charred octopus as my appetizer and that was INSANE. For my main, I ordered the deconstructed pastitsio with the cauliflower on the side and I will forever chase the feeling of eating that dish for the first time.

We had an amazing experience at Lyra! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere and decor set the perfect tone, warm, stylish, and inviting. The service was top-notch from start to finish, and every dish was incredible. We started with the charred octopus and meatballs, both perfectly prepared and full of flavor. For our entrees, we had the lamb gyro, deconstructed pastitsio, and lamb chops with a side of their delicious potatoes, everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. To finish the night, we enjoyed one of their desserts along with a cappuccino and espresso, the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. Highly recommend Lyra for anyone looking for amazing Greek food, great service, and a beautiful dining experience!

The food and service were absolutely incredible! The only downside was I didn't realize that the restaurant effectively turns into a club late at night so the music was very loud and it was hard to talk to my friends at times over the music. Would 1000% go back but just at an earlier time.
This was my first time dining with this restaurant. I booked it same day so i was not able to get a table inside and selected patio option. which is perfectly fine. What i didn't know is this restaurant has gotten greedy and took advantage of road construction and added some chairs on the street and sat us there. It was the worst place to sit and eat. I was smelling Gutter which ruined the whole eating experience, surface was uneven so our table and chairs were not balanced and kept moving. Felt like i am eating at a very cheap restaurant. Waiters has no knowledge of menu and food. Food was better then i expected but all other things ruined my evening. Paid very high price to dine in at the side of a street. Management should know how to give all customers good experience and this was not one.
