I like La Amistad a lot, and I’m glad to have it near where I live. I was disappointed at first because it’s almost $20 for a steak taco dinner, but I was pleased with the portions and the extent to which it filled me up. The carne asada is finely sliced and well seasoned, which I think works best for tacos and burritos. The rice and beans are fairly average, but they’re not the main event. The service here is really fast and efficient, and it’s always been ready when I go to pick it up. They also have a new online ordering system that is cheaper than DoorDash, etc., so if you’re planning on picking up I’d look for that on their website. Looking forward to coming back soon.

This is an assuming place that we finally tried and now we wish we had tried it sooner! The food here is delicious and comforting. Recommend the burrito, rice and beans and salsa.

Very Chill Spot and Super Clean...Customer Service and Food were an A+. Casually walking through the Area and just stumbled across this place and I have NO REGRETS after my 1st Experience here. I ordered a Ground Beef Burrito & a Ground Beef Taco. Both full of Great Flavor and that Burrito was AWESOME!!!!!!! I will definitely be back...Count on it. ✊🏿

Great spot - really solid steak, chorizo, even chicken tacos, but my favorite dish is the enchiladas verde. Also everyone that works here is really nice.

This place is excellent! Not only is the food delicious, but the service is exceptionally good. I ordered takeout and while I was waiting for it to be made they gave me a little extra guacamole to snack on. So kind and so delicious! Will definitely make this place a regular spot!

We have been going to family-owned La Amistad for 6 years now. The food is very good; the prices are reasonable; and the service is excellent. On top of that, it's BYOB and has seating on the broad sidewalk along Montrose, which provides an endless parade of people watching. The 5 page menu is extensive, although my go-to item is Chicken Enchiladas with Mole. p.s. There is always street parking available.
