The ladies here are very rude. When I asked for the cakes and if I can get something written on it with the ribbon the lady looked so pissed as if I was bothering her with my request! Like that is why you have all those ribbons hanging in the first place. Very rude !

I am speechless 😶 I literally want to eat everything in the bakery. So far everything I have tried is so fresh and delicious. I go to several Mexican bakeries in the city but this is by far the best. I have not yet tried their cakes (other than the slices sold individually) but I imagine they are filled with real fresh pieces of fruit and not just jelly. The cookies are good and perfect size. If you are in the area, do not pass this up. If you like Mexican Pan Dulce/Baked Goods, this place is for you!!!!

I visited this bakery over the weekend and was very excited to try it out, as there is one in Melrose Park. I am not sure if they are owned by the same person, but I will never be going back to this location. I had high hopes because the bakery in Melrose Park is amazing. However, the lady who rang me up was very rude and had an attitude after I asked for a cake slice. I let it go, but the customer service was horrible.

Once I got home, the bread was stale, and the conchas were hard, stale, and had a strange taste. Never in my life have I had a concha that tasted this bad. And to top it off, for about six pieces of bread and a slice of cake, I paid 22 dollars. Horrible stale bread and horrible customer service. I will never shop there again.

I’ve been a Loyal customer of La Baguette Bakery since 1994, and can confidently say they have the best 3 Leches cake and flan anywhere! Their cakes are always fresh, rich and perfectly moist, with just the right balance of sweetness. The flan is creamy and smooth-truly a dessert masterpiece. If you are looking for authentic, delicious desserts, La Baguette Bakery is the place to go! Highly recommended.

Authentic Mexican pan. The variety is great. They even have cakes. The prices are reasonable compared to grocery stores. I bought traditional bread like conchas, cuernitos and galletas plus many more. I thought I bought enough for thr week. But, my kids ate it up with two days. Definitely worth it. Ohhh..and there's a Starbucks next door so you can do a morning run before work.

It's like you order food and you tell him what you want and they don't hear you. It's ridiculous And the bakery is overpriced and it's a shame that they don't take link. In Illinois 2 million people have link, so it's a shame that they don't want us in their bakery! It's like they're saying people with link don't deserve their pastries. Right now with all the prices that are high and the rents for apartments are even higher, I can't afford to use cash to go to their bakery. But there is other bakeries on 26th Street. Check them out and they take the Link card because above all 26th Street is a beautiful place to visit.
