BEST TRES LECHES IN CHICAGO HANDS DOWN ! I've been coming here for years this new location is so clean and pretty the bread and baked goods are always fresh and delicious tres leches is my favorite cake and this is the only place that makes the authentic kind
I traveled from Mexico on vacation to Chicago and came across the well-known La Baguette Bakery and my family and I were delighted. You find all kinds of bread, super fresh and soft. Every bite feels like being in Mexico. We accompany it with a delicious coffee that they sell. We would return without thinking about it!!! Apart from that everyone is very friendly.
It's been over a decade since I've bought diabetic-inspired-mexican-doughnuts here But it's Still memorable to this day. It's a shame these mexican neighborhoods Never evolved to beautify their environment to welcome more business & opportunities to La Villita.
