The food was great but not enough. The portions are small. I ordered the Guisada and I think I had a total of 3 potato in my little bowl. It was not a meal sized portion. I was left unsatisfied as far as portions are concerned. The waitress never asked me if I wanted a drink. She really didn't come back after bringing the food. We had a party of 6. Overall it was good. Just lacking.

They fell off so bad. The food is disgusting. The people that work in the back don’t know how to have good customer service y’all need to deep clean it smelled really bad in there don’t not eat there 👎🏾
A great Puerto Rican restaurant with outstanding service and a vibrant atmosphere, making for a very positive experience despite a few minor flaws with the food.
The Positives:
· Excellent Service: Prompt and friendly service from the moment you arrived.
· Surprising Ambiance: The back dining area is spacious with plenty of seating (both booths and tables), complemented by great music that creates an authentic and enjoyable atmosphere.
· Efficient Setup: Clear options for both dine-in and to-go orders.
· Standout Dish: The chicken stew was the star of the meal with amazing flavor.
· Generally Good Food: The arroz con gandules, meat patty, and alcapurria de yuca were all tasty and satisfying.
The Critique
· Tostones: Disappointing. They were oddly sweet and lacked the essential salty, garlicky seasoning they typically have.
· Arroz con Habichuelas: Was noticeably too salty.
· Arroz con Gandules: While decent and good enough, it wasn't the best I've had.
I would return. The excellent service, great atmosphere, and standout dishes like the chicken stew easily outweigh the few culinary missteps.

On my first visit to Chicago, I wanted to try Jabarito. The food was fantastic. The waitress was very friendly. Food was made to order and came to us hot and tasty. Recommend to anyone who loves Puerto Rican cuisine and for any first timers you’ll love it. I had the Jabrito sandwich with a side of rice. Price was reasonable and food was delicious.
It was bit dark inside and tables could be more clean but overall it was a good experience.

The food at the food truck in Humboldt park was terrible, spent 20. The bacalao was greasy and too salty, the papa rellenas were sour/meat was good anymore and the pastelillos de pollo weren’t good anymore tasted too sour, chicken went bad at that point. You guys need to check up on the food and make sure food is being made to order and fresh. Not let sit there while it gets stale and not good anymore. Food needs some improvement on freshness.
