The line here is worth the wait! First of all, traditional decoration all over the place, but not like some fake places, but true Mexican. The place is packed in breakfast/brunch time, so either book in advance or be ready to wait 10-20minutes. Service is great and helpful, but if you speak Spanish they will go above and beyond, so you can try practicing if you know even a little bit! Portions are very big, and everything was great. Cafe de olla was good (and massive), the strawberry...

I went for lunch with my mom & my son. “La Cátedra” the decoration lines up with its name. The paintings are colorful & vivid. I specially like the Michael Angelo, on the first floor ceiling it’s beautiful. And the many religious statues and paintings makes you feel you are stepping into la catedral of Mexico City. I must say, I was a bit disappointed with their food. I ordered chicken red sauce enchiladas. But the enchiladas were saggy and tasted more like chilaquiles....
