Small boutique coffee shop chain celebrating the oaky goodness of minimalism and simplicity in Chicagoland. This particular £0cale is snugly tucked underneath a once graced John Cusack Hi Fidelity blue line el stop stop…. Across the street from the once legendary Double Door rock club turned Yeti store now vacant. Roll credits.

One of my go-to spots in Wicker Park. Consistently great.

CHICAGO- has many layers of history.
Wherever you go… someone else walked there, worked there, spit-on-the-sidewalk-there, and made their way there.

I “loved” Chicago, but no more.
We broke-up with The Gun Violence, Corruption, & “Divisive-Political-Polarity”- becoming Emotional Refugees in Portugal.

It “would be” a cool feature of
GOOGLE MAPS, to allow the APP,
to visually show the History of a location,
be it a Park, a Street Corner,
or a storefront, “place” where
an Immigrant, like Grandpa Louie
- planted his stake here.🇺🇸

A nice chill place to have coffee and a pastry. Fun that it's in the middle of everything at the six corners in Wicker Park.

As you leave the Damen Ave L Station you can head into La Colombe and grab a cappuccino or draft cold brew, and pastry. Day instantly better.

La Colombe makes one of the best oat milk draft lattes I’ve had, it was creamy, foamy, and uniquely delicious. It’s the main reason I keep coming back. The texture is smooth and the flavor is just right. My only suggestion would be to go a little lighter on the ice, as it can water things down a bit too quickly. Still, it’s a standout drink that’s worth the trip.

I liked this coffee shop. There is plenty of seating. The staff was friendly. Drip coffee was good. They didn't charge extra for Oat milk as creamer for my black coffee.

Nice place bustling with crowd at all times.

However, the coffee is not as great. I got a matcha and mocha. The matcha tasted artificial and the mocha was not as good.

I don't normally write reviews for places, and I am not a coffee drinker. I ordered the hot chocolate this morning as it was a little chilly outside and it was absolutely awful. Probably the worst I've ever had. I just want others to be aware. It tasted like lukewarm water with barely any chocolate flavor. A SwissMiss packet has more flavor. What a waste of $5. Staff seemed nice, atmosphere fine, just do not order the hot chocolate.

Very underwhelmed by this place. Got a drip coffee and a latte. barely any flavors for the latte and to my actual drink. Not sure why this is the place that people wait outside of coffee for based on what I tasted.

The coffee is good, but if you’re trying to stay and work from this location the music is very loud and hard to work with - usually fairly distracting, not the usually coffee shop mix. The staff is friendly, the pastries are okay but for the price it’d be nice if they could warm them up. Great lattes
