La Colonia is becoming one of my neighborhood favorites, and definitely my top Colombian/Ecuadorean option in the area. Their encocado and llapingachos are quite good, and their caldo de bolon is to die for.
They also went out of their way to fix a mistake in my delivery order (seems caused by software), rushing me over my missing item ASAP. Thank you!

This place is phenomenal. The food is truly outstanding. My son ordered the lomo saltado, and he’s eaten at most Peruvian restaurants—he said this was hands down the best he’s ever had. I ordered the Picada la Colonia, and it was absolutely amazing—perfectly prepared and full of flavor.
The happy hour drinks were fantastic, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. This is an absolute must-try and a place we will 100% be coming back to.

Place is a little expensive for what it offers, food is average at best, service was great, atmosphere was decent. The chef needs to learn the difference between grilling a medium steak and one that's cooked well done. I asked for medium and got well done but went with it in the end because of the service, the waiter was really nice.

I had a dish that I hadnt had in 5 years, since my mom died cancer. She's the only person that would make it. It was a real emotional meal. They made it very well. This place is great
