Food and drinks were good. Just each single one of the employees needs a better attitude. They, all just have a nasty behavior, and when you ask them for things they just stare at you or at each other and look like they don’t want to work. So, rude because customer service always matters and is what brings people to the environment. Also, I asked for a mango water and prior to this one, of the employees was cleaning the window of where the waters are placed and didn’t wash her hands. As she still proceeded to serve the mango water. I did not expect that for my first time being here.
Poor service, she looked at me very rudely and had a very bad attitude.
Delicious!
Best to pay with cash to avoid the credit card fee. Great service and lots of desserts to choose from!
La Flor Michoacana 3 is a charming mom-and-pop spot that brings a warm, authentic touch to traditional Mexican treats. It has that welcoming neighborhood feel where you can take your time, explore flavors, and enjoy homemade desserts made with care. The ice creams, paletas, and other sweet creations are the real highlight — rich in taste, full of cultural authenticity, and perfect for satisfying a dessert craving. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick treat or planning to try multiple items, it’s definitely a good place to experience delicious, fresh desserts you don’t find everywhere.
One thing worth noting is when purchasing packaged candies. They have a wide variety, but I’d recommend checking the use by dates, especially if you’re picking up items to take home or gift. The fresh treats and made-in-store items shine the most here, and that’s what gives this place its charm.
Overall, La Flor Michoacana 3 is a wonderful small family-run shop with true homemade flavor and a friendly vibe. Great spot to enjoy something sweet — just be mindful when buying packaged candy and you’ll leave happy.
I was like a kid in a candy story I saw the outside and went inside for a mangonada..It was very Delicious
Lately at nights they have these two ladies with a bad attitude, they used to have some girls with great attitude always greeting and smiling, now these ladies seem like they don’t want to be there and like we’re bothering them. Within this past month, I’ve gone 3 times, and I keep getting these two ladies with a bad attitude, I love the ice cream. Not sure if it’s worth it tbh
I passed by at night and the service was very bad. The lady was talking on the phone while she was serving me, she wasn't friendly. I like going to that place. Now I'm disappointed.😡😡
Went there earlier today, and got some elote (was okay) and a bunch of candy. But to my surprise, when I got home most of the candy was expired !!
So disappointing.
La paletas was super oily and chocolates extremely hard :(
Other candy were bad too :(
WIDE variety of paletas. We tried the fresca (with real strawberry slices) and an avocado one that was creamy and delicious. Will definitely be back to try more flavors.

Mangonada is so delicious and the ice cream is so creamy! Fun place to sit outside and eat. I’ll be back!
Editing my review to add that after trying all of the ice cream shops in the neighborhood, this is by far the best

Loved everything about this place. I tried Gansito in a waffle bowl. It was excellent. Also got an elote to go. It was a good choice.
10 dollars for a 16 oz milkshake and they want a tip too 🤣🤣. Tasty tho
BEST ELOTES IN CHICAGO
Horrible service. Workers are rude. And they don’t use gloves when preparing food with their dirty hands.
