Ambiance and decor wonderful, service pretty good, several appetizers good (escargoo needs more garlic) but considering you are primarily a steal house the steaks were way too thin especially for prime. You can't get a juicy steak when that thin--should be at least 1.5" thick, charge more if you have to but thin steaks in a steak house especially in chicago won't work
Loved La Grande Boucherie! We had oysters, crab spaghetti, duck, and a couple of steaks on the table — everything was a hit. Early evening had a fun happy hour vibe with a great bar in the middle, then by around 7:30 it mellowed out and was perfect for conversation. Awesome food, great energy, we'll definitely be back!
Excellent dinner for the first time at La Grande Boucherie. Service was very good, table attendance was perfect, food was delivery steadily but never in a rush. Very good steak and Bearnaise. Very good cheese selection. Good wine list. Would go again in a moment.
