The ube bun was delicious. Soft and not too sweet. I can’t wait to return and try more from this bakery.

Pineapple bun texture was great, dense and fluffy! Chocolate croissant was good, too.

Super sweet sweets and customer service! You can really see the pride and love that goes into each pastry. Definitely worth a trip if you're in the area.

This place is a gem in the neighborhood. It’s super personable and the owner has even recognized us and always welcomes us back when we come in. Their buns are great and highly recommended, but they have some incredible and delicious pastries. You can never go wrong with the chocolate croissant—it’s so flaky and buttery. We asked the owner what pastry he was most proud of and he pointed us to the almond croissant, and it’s easy to see why he is so proud of it. It’s delicious! They have a great selection and it’s a perfect spot for a sweet treat.

Where do I start? The café is adorable. The pastries are incredible. The cappuccinos are true Italian Roma cappuccinos.but, the Crew is beyond freindly always smiling they’re truly passionate about their jobs..This is a must if you live or visiting Chicago. The windmill cookies are light crispy, and pure delicious ecstasy.

Hands down the best butter/plain Crossaint in the city for me. The lamination, the butter, the aroma, the taste everything knocks me out of the park, every time we eat. Also the crossaint is how I impressed my wife (now) on our second date 😬✌️🙏

Enjoyed a croissant, a cheese+garlic pastry, and a chocolate raspberry tart

Twice my visits were ok. Pastry was definitely good with great variety of my cultural Asian fusion favorites. Both times my hot and cold Vietnamese coffee was sub par because it wasn't stirred after pour. Prices are moderate to high but good quality. It gets super cramped cause of size only 1-2 small tables by window/door. Needs air conditioning. Would definitely go back at off peak time. Was work being done outside too.

Chocolate croissant and lemon tart were excellent!

My family has been going here for 15 years. Yes, it’s a few quarters more per bun than Chiu Quan but they never skimp the filling. It’s always fresh. Our favorites are the xiu mai bun, bbq pork, coconut roll, and evg custard. The western deserts look perfect.

The croissant-cookies are to die for 🥰 You really can’t go wrong with anything from the case at this bake shop!

As a big fan of both classic viennoiserie and Asian flavors, I wanted to love this place but unfortunately struggled to do so. The items are a bit inconsistent - the ube pastel de nata had great flavor, but you couldn’t taste the pandan in the pandan version. The textures were a bit off as well - the lamination in the croissant and pasteis de nata was oddly brittle (may just not have traveled well) and the hopia was a bit dry.
The ube bun would have been great, but we found a hair baked into it after our first bite and weren’t willing to keep eating (see last photo)

The one item that was excellent was the steamed rice cake variety pack - no notes, would get it again. Overall I think there’s potential here, but the execution still leaves something to be desired
