The tacos were really good and flavorful. I enjoyed the food, but unfortunately the customer service needs improvement. The cashier (or the person taking/making the order) was very rude, which made the experience disappointing. I hope they can work on being more welcoming because the food itself is great.

[Update 2026.02] Carne asada taco nearly $7, pollo nearly $5. Used to be the best taco in Chicago, even a lot of Mexicans I knew would say as much. They jacked up the prices for the gentrified gringo crowd that took over the area. A couple years back there used to be crazy lines. The prices have driven away the crowds, so nice job on that. You had a good run, guys!

Overpriced tacos, especially for the carne asada. I've been to other taqueria's that's carge less. The meat quality wasn't even good. I had also ordered barbacoa and I got a big chunk of fat. For three tacos it was $21, like Jesus come on now. Not only that but the inside of the resteraunt looks basic and dingy. DONT GET TACOS HERE THERE ARE BETTER PLACES WITH CHEAPER PRICES

Ok i gave it 5 stars for the atmosphere because if you like meat 🥩, steak in particular this place is tops !!! U can get an absolutely delicious marinated skirt steak 🥩 or Ribeye and they pile the meat on !! You pay for it roughly 20-28$ for a massive steak burrito but it’s the best !!! Pure protein for carnivores !! The Horchatas are delicious and salsa is yummy! 😋 2am late night can’t beat it !!!

I grew up on the Northside many years ago. We would always go to La Pasadita. I was 10 when we moved to the Southside of Chicago, now I'm 42. Everytime I would visit the Northside I would swing by for a taco. Well I hadn't been here in about 2yrs. I was shocked to see that from the 3 locations they used to have now there's only one. The prices are ridiculously high! $21 for a burrito is way too much and $6 something for a small taco is also high. I was extremely disappointed. I go to Pacos Tacos and Zacatacos on the Southside of Chicago which have the most delicious tacos and it's not nearly this expensive.

This place is especially good if you aren’t from Pilsen, Little Village, Cicero and don’t want to go all the way over there. The tacos are all very tasty with a hefty meat portion. The tortillas are also good a common issue at other Mexican restaurants in Chicago. Some points to note: the tables have benches around them which are slightly uncomfortable and the menu is limited. This place is also open late!

Do NOT get the guacamole! its not homemade and definitely comes from a pouch/container. too smooth to be real, not a piece of onion,jalapeno,or cilantro. barbacoa and puerco is good, a good amount of meat in each taco.

I ordered 8 tacos via Grubhub and only 2 tacos arrived. I tried to call La Pasadita multiple times and no one answered. The tacos that did arrive were lower quality than what I expected from a place with their reputation; too much sour cream and beans were not cooked evenly
