Such a great surprise! We had heard about La Perla and live in the neighborhood but hadn't made it over to this gem. Such a lovely evening! Food was delicious and beautifully presented. They are working out a bar issue so no alcohol for now but just go for the food! Service was beyond expectations and super accommodating. Rh r chef even came out to see how we were enjoying our choices. Run for the rigatoni! The swordfish special was awesome, Caesar salad -yum. Its location is a little hidden on Clark south of Belmont but don't pass it by.
Food was good, although I was disappointed that it was more Italian than South American, the menu photos we saw online had more South American dishes. Also the prices were a bit steep. Waiter was good.
This restaurant was absolutely amazing. A fun atmosphere with incredibly high-quality food. We went with a group of seven on a Tuesday evening last week and it completely exceeded our expectations and we will be going back 100% for sure!
the food was great and so were the drinks but service was slow. The restaurant wasn't full.
Was a great dinner, food menu is exquisite, I had the Steak Sandwich, and my partner had the Shrimp Alfredo! Both were delicious and tasty, along with the appetizer of fried calamari!
Garrett our waiter was welcoming, friendly, awesome service. Happy Hour martinis were great. Fried ravioli was delicious, and the shrimp ceviche was really excellent. Steak tacos out of this world. Surprised to see it pretty empty on. Wednesday night. Decor is cute and fun and flashy. Try it! Great
Just a random Yelp search led us to try this place. The food was great, from appetizers through dessert! The service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. Looking forward to coming back soon.
What a hidden gem! In the past year I've needed to be in Chicago about once every couple of months. I'm always looking for something new to try. I'm typically in the Grant Park area but when doing some research, I randomly found this "newer" place with amazing reviews. I was there on Saturday 03/29 at 5:30 and the place was empty. I never post food pics but couldn't help but to do it on this occasion. The food and drinks were top notch! Archie (waiter) and Garrett (bartender) were also top notch! There was a manager that was awesome too but I unfortunately didn't catch his name. Even though this is a bit of a drive from my Grant Park area, I 100% will be going back to La Perla on my upcoming visits! Well done everyone...keep working on getting the word out!
First time visit. Pleasantly surprised by atmosphere. Club like experience however food was on par with a 5 star restaurant. Would easily visit again.
Might be my new favorite restaurant, I've been twice now hit the AVO Prawn salad with Berrys and the Vodka Pasta with shrimp and both were amazing. So much flavor and there were so many other things on the menu I wanted to try. Will be back especially on Sunday nights as they have trivia

Bartender was five and a half hours late to his shift - never got drinks. Walked in to see people walking out because no food was leaving the kitchen. Keep in mind, there were maybe 8 people in the entire restaurant and the dish that never arrived was ceviche. For a place with as expensive as this one, I was shocked at the cheap furniture, dirty tables, and lack of available menu items. Highly do NOT recommend.
Wow! We absolutely loved this place! I had chosen this restaurant quite randomly because we had a show at the Laugh Factory afterward. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding service and food. We ordered the 48-hour marinated skirt steak. The chimichurri sauce was incredible, and the mushrooms were cooked to perfection. The steak was done perfectly at medium. highly recommend if you're in the area!
Guacamole appetizer was amazing! Comes with a variety of artisanal chips. The beet salad had too many beets but was overall a good salad. Steak tacos are amazing and lychee martini is good!
Food was okay, drinks were not good and not strong, service was pretty bad. Ambiance and overall vibe was poor, would not recommend.
La Perla had a well priced happy hour menu that we took advantage of via InKind. I enjoyed tacos & cocktails the most. I also ordered the fried ravioli. Will be back!
