This place has been there for years ,and I'm not afraid to say it will be for many more , the reason is powerful and simple ,they sell high quality Mexican sweet bread , and even flour tortillas fresh made at the spot, awesome cakes, and all of that at a low convenient price, youll never go broke celebrating someone's birthday or treating them to some yummy pastry, even all Spanish people know that this is the place to hit to get your fix of coffee and bread in a budget or for the taste, kudos to these guys who still know how to roll and save you dough ?Parking: They have more than just enough parking spots

Terrible quality, exorbitant prices. I paid over 45 dollars for a simple flan and 2 pieces of stale bread.

Stopped by on my long way back home. Grabbed some donuts but when I got home the bread was really old and dry and I found MOLD inside one of the donuts. I had to throw everything away. Never again.

La Perla Tapatia bakery has held a special place in my heart for over two decades, primarily because of their delectable cheese bread (pan de queso). However, it saddens me to say that my recent experiences have left me disappointed and longing for the cheese-filled delights of the past.Over the years, I've observed a significant decline in the amount of cheese used in their bread. What was once a delightfully cheesy treat has transformed into a mere bread. The bread is now noticeably lacking in the generous amount of cheese that used to make it so irresistible. As you are basically eating bread. As someone who has cherished La Perla Tapatia bakery's cheese bread for such a long time, this change is disheartening. It feels like a betrayal of the very essence that made the bakery stand out. While I still appreciate the overall quality of their other offerings, I can't help but emphasize how much I miss the days when their cheese bread was truly exceptional. It was the highlight of my visits, and now it feels like an afterthought.I sincerely hope that La Perla Tapatia bakery reevaluates their recipe and returns to the cheese-filled glory that earned them their well-deserved reputation. Until then, I can't help but feel a sense of disappointment.Note: This review reflects my personal experience and opinion as a long-time customer. When I visited La Perla Tapatia Bakery, I was reminded of the times when my grandmother sent me to panaderias to bring back bolillos and conchas. The interior of the bakery has aisles filled with a variety of breads. One thing that caught my attention was the display of bolillos piled in a glass box, just like I remember from my grandmother's local panaderia in Mexico. The bakery also offers a selection of coffee, jell-O, along with other tempting pastries, cakes, and breads that I didn't recognize. I believe they might be from different regions of Mexico, which makes me even more curious to try them. For those who may not be familiar, here's a fun fact about "tapatías": Tapatía is a colloquial term used to refer to someone from Guadalajara, Mexico. So, perhaps La Perla Tapatia Bakery is like a little taste of Guadalajara right in this neighborhood(?)The combination of cleanliness, welcoming atmosphere, and classic Mexican breads adds to the overall positive experience at La Perla Tapatia Bakery.I highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking to try something new and immerse themselves in flavors of a Mexican-style bakery.

They’re bread is not fresh conchas are supposed to be fluffy and soft they’re hard And dry brownies are hard same thing with the muffins. That’s like some old bread.

Decent and well priced, but Halloween and Xmas cookies on display in March make me not want to eat anything there.

i Have purchased the chocolate tres leches here in this location but lately every cake is expired. 4 different occasions different dates and the cakes are expired the milk is sour. I Always take the cake back and get a refund, but they don't remove the remaining cakes from the coolers. I spoke to the manager Jose and I told him that the baker should know when and how Long the cake should be good to sell. They only care about making their money not caring if the cake is good or bad.

Nice bakery for all the Mexican breads. Amazing specialty cakes that look like works of art, although I haven't purchased one.....yet. Staff is very friendly and helpful, even with this minimal Spanish speaking gringa!
