The 4 course tasting menu for Valentines was very overpriced and lackluster. The staff and ambiance were both excellent, however, the food was underwhelming.

This was not worth what we paid! The Valentine's Day dinner menu was such a scam and the servers seemed disorganized and confused.

We had 3 different people come to our table wasn't sure who the waiter was. We ordered the onion sourdough appetizer and there was a blonde hair on it. The music was so obnoxiously loud felt like I was at the club not a restaurant. Our food took forever to come out. I probably wouldn't go back here.

Loved the food and service. I would call the music unrelentingly loud and the customers energetic - the volume could be a bit tuned down and maybe changed up a bit - the playlist seemed rather repetitive pulsating. We were also surprised that we entered to three flights of stairs to access the restaurant. Unfortunately we saw the sign that we could be assisted up (but we did fine) as we were leaving - but who wants to ride the service elevator. Thanks for the b'day treat!

Excellent food, prompt service, music on the loud side. We went during Restaurant Week, which made the prices more affordable, but the restaurant does do that very annoying “thing” of adding 3.95% to the bill. (All we do is deduct that from the tip!) One thing that was very jarring to me was the firework brought to a table near ours to celebrate an event. In light of what just happened in Crans Montana and of the low-hanging (I hope flame-retardant!) “greenery” that flows down from the ceiling, this seems dangerous and in poor taste,

Very cute place, lots of stairs unless you know about the “secret” elevator (didn't bother me but good to know for those that aren't physically inclined), food was good. I enjoyed the zucchini fritters, lamb chops and French toast brûlée during Chicago Restaurant Week. The drinks were not as great but not a bad price. Server was nice and accommodating. Will return.

The experience was really fun. The food and drink were great, but the service was very rushed. They told us that they were overbooked as soon as we were seated, however that should not have affected the service for our table of four.

Food was excellent and waiter was super nice. One issue is that they served one dinner entree 10 mins before they served everyone else's entry. Waiting for everyone to get served made that entrée cold and a bit hard to eat.

Incredible! Food was so so good! I went for my birthday everyone loved their meal so much - lemon pasta with caviar was outstanding! The little gem salad, tuna tartar, gnnochi, duck all favorites and of course the birthday dessert. Thank you for making my birthday so great will be coming back!

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed every course we had from apps to dessert. The staff provided recommendations generally and again based on shared preferences.

Great food and service! They also provided champagne a special dessert with sparklers for our birthday celebration :) I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

The food was great, service very good, but the music was too loud for a date. And the over use of sparklers was distracting and triggered an allergic reaction from the person I was with. We almost had to leave early.

Amazing experience at La Serre! It has a beautiful interior and the holiday decorations were a fun bonus. We had a few different servers throughout the night and they were all wonderful. The happy hour was both a fantastic deal and delicious food. Definitely recommend.

La Serre was the perfect escape on a blustery winter day. The warm ambience, lush greenery, and bright, spring-like atmosphere made it instantly inviting. The food was outstanding — especially the French onion fondue, zucchini fritters, tuna crudo, and the Beef Bourguignon special. The drinks were just as impressive, with the espresso and French martinis standing out as favorites. But what truly set the experience apart was the service. It was exceptional from start to finish. Matt, our server, was incredibly attentive, ensuring our drinks stayed full and that we were completely taken care of throughout the meal. We'll definitely be back.

First time at La Serre last night and I was incredibly impressed with everything! The staff were polite and knowledgeable. The drinks were very tasty- recommend the Gold Fashioned! Wine selection was great and consisted mostly of French wines(which I love). Very friendly Somm helped us select the right option and didn't lead us wrong. Now, onto the food - WOW! Absolutely recommend the mussels, prime rib, and the French onion dip. Truthfully, it's hard to go wrong with anything on the menu. Pricing is overall high, but you get what you pay for - excellent quality and service. 💯 I'd go back here in a heartbeat!!
