Loved the food and service. I would call the music unrelentingly loud and the customers energetic - the volume could be a bit tuned down and maybe changed up a bit - the playlist seemed rather repetitive pulsating. We were also surprised that we entered to three flights of stairs to access the restaurant. Unfortunately we saw the sign that we could be assisted up (but we did fine) as we were leaving - but who wants to ride the service elevator. Thanks for the b'day treat!
Excellent food, prompt service, music on the loud side. We went during Restaurant Week, which made the prices more affordable, but the restaurant does do that very annoying “thing” of adding 3.95% to the bill. (All we do is deduct that from the tip!) One thing that was very jarring to me was the firework brought to a table near ours to celebrate an event. In light of what just happened in Crans Montana and of the low-hanging (I hope flame-retardant!) “greenery” that flows...
Very cute place, lots of stairs unless you know about the “secret” elevator (didn't bother me but good to know for those that aren't physically inclined), food was good. I enjoyed the zucchini fritters, lamb chops and French toast brûlée during Chicago Restaurant Week. The drinks were not as great but not a bad price. Server was nice and accommodating. Will return.
