Loved the spacious patio- other restaurants sometimes have tables very close together, but La Vaca's tables and chairs give you room to breathe!

I recently visited this location with my fiancée and his frat brother and we were seated at the patio , unfortunately their was a shooting that sounded so close and security escorted us inside we had ordered food and drinks and by time we tried to retrieve our food the table was cleared ! We were told a manger named Jessica would come speak with us we waited 20 minutes before my fiancée and his friend just paid the tab and we left. im a big fan of this spot even celebrated my birthday here one year im just upset we weren’t compensated and we BARELY TOUCHED OUR FOOD ! I’ve even contacted the restaurant on multiple occasions and have yet to get in contact with management.

I’m A local , I came into this restaurant and ask if I could sit down inside the waiter let me when I sat down, I was greeted only by the bartender I was just ignored. Some strangers came to say hi to me and sit next to me and offer me shots. I guess they were just in a good mood, But then the waitress came in she kick all of us out. I have been sitting here for an hour, and I still haven’t got any chips, entrées or noone has came by to get my order I don’t know if just because they feel intimidate by me , but I feel very, very isolated. It has been one of the worst experience I ever had.

Got some drinks with my buddy. Bartenders were busy and there was a line.
I asked for some drinks and gave her my card, I saw the bartender get busy and thought she left my tab open.
I asked for 2 more drinks and then she asked me for my debit card. I gave her my ID thinking maybe she wasn’t sure which card is mine.
Then she came back and said she gave it to me. I was waiting to sign the whole time. I never got my card back otherwise I would had signed for the first round of drinks.
Thought I was loosing it and asked my buddy and he saw I was standing there and she hadn’t given me my card back.
So they lost my card and I had to cancel it.
Atmosphere was good, people were great but their AC wasn’t keep up. Everyone was sweating.

They refused us service because of our race. We sat there for 15 min to get served water. Then we waited 30 minutes for a waiter to acknowledge us.

La Vaca Margarita Bar is the spot if you're lookin' for good food and drinks in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. The margaritas here are legit—super refreshing and hit the spot every time. I ordered the tacos al pastor and the guac, and both were bomb. The tacos were packed with flavor, and that smoky grilled pork was on point. The patio is a vibe, especially when the weather's nice, and it’s perfect for a hangout with friends. I spent about $40, which included a drink, the tacos, and the guacamole, and it was definitely worth it. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

Online the hours they open at 11 AM on Saturday I walked in at 1 PM because who doesn’t want some margaritas after brunch?? . Lights on, the doors were unlocked. I literally walked in there and sat down then a workers came out and said they were closed 😐😐
Over charged my card. WIter wasn't attentive to our table. Added extra unexplained charged to the bill

Yesterday night me & my friend came to eat & have a drink after we sat down at the bar I noticed a roach coming out from behind the bar 🤮 it was a pretty disgusting moment. Literally threw up outside the restaurant.what was meant to be a good time for us definitely went wrong .
After yesterday incident I called today around 7:50 pm because they said that when a manager or supervisor would be in. So I was denied a refund which it’s okay but I was telling this person how the bartender who killed the roach didn’t even wipe down the counter nor washed his hands even though he killed it with a napkin. So the person over the phones goes on & asks me “ oh did he touch it with his bare hands “ ?? Like what? So your telling me that if I go to the washroom clean my Ass it’s okay not to wash my hands because I didn’t touch my ass with my bare hands ? Lmao this place and staff are a total joke . Definitely don’t recommend to anyone .
