Lacoco's Pizza & Sports Club

Love their pizza. However last night my son wanted a slice of pizza. I go in and noticed there was only 1 slice but that one slice had a huge air bubble, which means that the area it's in will be dry and will only be dough (no sauce, just dry). I ask the person taking my order if there will be more pizza soon and she says no that it would take about 25th min for a pizza to be ready, I then noticed that there were 2 peperoni pizzas in the hot case and ask if I could get one of those and she said yes. I then get the slice and go home and give it to my son. My son tells me that it's dry, I then look and it's the slice I had told the worker that I didn't want. I should have checked when I was there!!! Why would you give a customer the one slice they asked you to please not give them. The pictures I'm posting show the bubble! Wish the pictures were better.

Good food. Dine in and carry out. Staff is friendly and helpful. Quick and fast yummy food. A little pricy but still a great spot!

I usually order pizza from here no problem but today they forgot the Italian ice ... okay cool she offered a credit but with just a note in my account which did not sound very reliable so she got upset so she's like okay so then what do you want what do you want then you want a refund then... I'm sorry but it was not my fault in the first place and I didn't make it a big deal either so why the attitude?... they really do need customer service training...

I was able to visit La Coco's yesterday. The manager on shift was Bob and his staff was so cool and down and helpful. It’s a very well maintained restaurant, the food came out fast and hot! We took all of his recommendations and everything was so good and I'm not just saying it because I was sponsored. Lol. This review wasn’t required but I would be remiss not to make it. I really see why the place has been open 40 years. It's definitely a sports club with huge tv’s lining all the walls but honestly I will be recommending this place to anyone I know in Chicago because it was just that nice. Next time I go, I want to choose a nice night so I can go to the patio and they turn the fire on!

I've been a loyal customer for a long time now. Every order I place is about $70. Today was no different I ordered a xl sausage, xl special, order of mad fries, mozzarella sticks and Madd wings all for pick up. Order was supposed to be ready at 845pm. Got there 843 my husband went in, paid. Time passed and it was now 920 when I realized he'd been gone way too long. I went in just in time for them to be telling him (mind u, after waiting there another 30 something minutes after due pickup time) that the special pizza was "made wrong" so I could get my money back or wait ANOTHER 30 mins for it to be ready. I said "ya well then all the other food would be cold by the time that one came out" the girl had attitude and rolled her eyes, some man came up and asked what was going on an was informed of the situation when he then offered to "make everything fresh and have it delivered and refunded me $25 for the inconvenience" to which I agreed. I then proceeded to wait an hour for it to be delivered, in which the delivery driver looked annoyed I didn't tip. To get the food open and see so many things wrong.
1. The food he offered to "make fresh" was cold, so absolutely not fresh.
2. One of the pizzas looked picked apart.
3. The special pizza that was "made wrong" an hour and 40 mins prior to delivery, was still wrong. Special pizza should have green peppers, onions, peperoni, and sausage. The pizza that arrived had sausage, onions, and mushrooms. I'm allergic to mushrooms so I couldn't even eat this pizza!
I'm very upset because if I would have known that the order was going to be 1. Cold and 2. Wrong and not eatable. I would have just asked for a refund. So instead I wasted time and $72.

Everything on the menu tastes great. It's more than just fresh hot food, it's got flavor. Original flavor. As for the service, hit or miss. They tend to have regulars that they treat faster. And with no shame. But for the most part, they're polite. Place is clean and open late. As for the bar , well, you're on the Southside so the atmosphere can be a lil thuggish

So I placed and Uber eats order and I was checking to see if it was picked up because the driver said he didn’t speak English and he says he never picked it up even though he went to the address and came here so I call lacoco’s pizza the woman picks up I asked her if she have an order for me she told me no even though I’m looking at the order placed online with this address so I ask to speak to a manger and she have an attitude because I said that doesn’t make sense how she doesn’t see the order I’m clearly looking at that was placed on Uber eats over an hour ago and she hung up so I called back and she finally gives the phone the the night manager and he said that they have my order right there that it was never picked up now it doesn’t make sense to me why the driver never picked up the order but drive to the location but that doesn’t have anything to do with the rudeness of this worker and why she couldn’t communicate effectively and just tell me that the order was placed and no one came and got the order instead she wants to have a slick mouth but doesn’t know what she’s talking about then they canceled my order while I was on the phone with the manager and told me I have to call back in the morning to speak to the store manager this is so ridiculous it’s almost 2 am I ordered this pizza almost 2 hours ago it’s cooked and everything and you guys canceled my order because of what ever reason is unacceptable and the fact that it’s someone that works there with an attitude and can’t do there job simply is ridiculous

I've been eating here my whole life and it's never failed to amaze I think there really good at getting your food to you fast and I think they accell in there eviorment because of how nice the location is
