The food was very good. It was conveniently located by the show we were seeing. The staff were very friendly.
Wonderful italian food made the old school way, from scratch. So good, wonderful service, delicious food.
My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Club Lago. We sat in one of the booths in the bar area, which has such a classic, cozy atmosphere. We decided to share the Chicago Parmigiana, which was delicious, along with a carafe of Chianti that paired perfectly with the meal. We finished the night by sharing a gelato. The service was great and the vibe is unmatched—highly recommend for a date night!
Overall it was enjoyable. Tables are very close together and we were seated in a high traffic zone.
Club Lago was recommended to us as we were visiting from out of town. We had high hopes as the ambience was fun and the woman behind the bar was friendly and informative. Unfortunately the food was terrible. I had the green pasta (spinach noodles) with meat sauce. The noodles were horrendously overcooked and rendered completely mushy. The regular pasta with tomato sauce didn't fare much better. I'd read a lot about the meat sauce that supposedly was as good as “Nonna's”. I'd say not by a long shot. The best dish of the night was the veal rustica which was well cooked.
Our first time here and everyone was impressed with the fantastic combination of great food and great service! A+ service from Natalie and kudos to the kitchen staff.
Wonderful Italian staples! Our favorite place. Thanks to Gian Carlo and team for another great evening.
Wonderful environment, excellent food, felt like a family member when welcomed by Guido and his wonderful staff. Definitely coming back!
Best Veal Limone in the city, great pasta with pretty good fish and they have Gavi by the glass!
Everything looked so promising at this out of the way scene from a Scorcese movie, but the seriously overcooked pastas and sugary tomato sauce that tasted more like ketchup was a big let down. Just have a drink and an appetizer.

Always delicious, always classic. We were the only ones in there tonight but it didn't matter food is always so great and nostalgic!
Really great service and great food. A very cozy environment. We had a wonderful experience
Everyone was so friendly and attentive. Great food at reasonable prices. Homemade dressing and super cannoli too. Thank you!
This was our first time visiting and it was FANTASTIC! The food, the atmosphere, the staff were all outstanding!!! Definitely coming back and worth every penny!!!!
I went back after several years. I loved the ambiance, the service and my chicken marsala. It is a classic restaurant since 1952 that should not be missed.
