We ordered 4 different items. Everything looked amazing, but the taste was rather disappointing. The amount of sesame seed, chili, and oil was overwhelming and unbalanced. There was also something acidic that i couldnt identify. The pork dumplings were delicious, but everything else was just OK.

All of it was great! So many dumplings in one order; they don’t skimp! We waited about ~35-40 minutes to be seated on a Thursday night around 6:20.

The best broth and dumplings I’ve had outside of China. This is my favorite neighborhood restaurant. I absolutely love the pork and dill dumplings, the wood ear mushrooms, and any of the bings. Is there often a long wait? Yes. I recommend getting there an hour or more before you want to eat and then get a drink at one of the bars nearby (golden years or Cleo’s are great options). Also, their food is still great for take-away which is what I often opt for.
