Cockroach in my food!!! Cockroach in my food!!! That's all I need to say. Do not go here!!!!! There is no hygiene whatsoever. I ordered a shrimp with broccoli and it came with a cockroach in it! I was about to feed it to my daughter when my wife noticed the COOKED cockroach. HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEED TO CLOSE THIS PLACE ASAP!!!!!!!

The place is quiet. Maybe it gets a little full at meal time, but it doesn't get saturated.

Consider that their menu is really extensive, so you might want to take a few minutes to decide what to order.

Keep in mind that the dishes are meant to be shared, as the portions are extremely large, so you'll likely end up with some takeout.

Upon arrival you are greeted with a kettle full of tea and glasses of ice water. The tea is delicious.

The crab rangoons are pretty good, not great, but they live up to the hype.
The fried rice with shrimp is delicious, the portion is abundant and they don't skimp on adding shrimp.
The chili chicken is extremely good. The best option I made. From a point of reference: for the average Mexican, the hotness is at a low level, and you could even say not itchy. The portion is very large.

The service is fast and relatively friendly. The place looks clean and it also seems that they take great care of the cleanliness of the place (I generally see it in the way places take care of the toilets) because their toilets were very neat.

This had never happened to me, they didn't want to treat me because I was alone. They simply told me that they only served tables with more people. I stood there thinking I had made a mistake, when I saw the chef (owner) I went to talk to him, and he actually told me that they didn't serve tables one at a time.

Ordered Mongolian lamb and feel like I’m eating balls of salt. Other dishes are ok but nothing truly noteworthy.

We went there for the delicious and famous Sichuan cuisine. The location of the store is easy to find, right at the entrance of the snack street. Two of us ordered beef noodles and fish. I really like the taste, it satisfies my taste buds. You may have to wait for food during peak periods. I hope it can be faster next time.

Love the food and keep coming back. Hands-down the best Chinese cuisine in Chicago.

Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian options such as dry chili tofu and egg plant in garlic sauce and garlic peapod leaves.

Server looked all time angry and drop plate very roughly. I wish give no tip. However 18% was added because of 7 persons group. Make it worse server asked 20% extra tip on top of 18% tip on her tablet. I TOLD HER YOU CHARGED 18% ALREADY AND SHOW THE TIP. SHE ERASE EXTRA TIP. BE CARFUL. NOT TO VISIT.

The place that began the Chinatown renaissance. Tony is GOD, as far as Chinese food is concerned, for me. He does not cater to 'local' palates. The food id as authentic as you can get in USA. He does not have a 'secret' menu. It is all out there. Pork blood, liver, kidneys etc etc. Of course, being a Vegetarian I have not had any of these. But the vast vegetarian menu is enough to navigate. Try the Chongqing style Eggplant. It is something you will not get anywhere else.

Went there last night with a friend for her birthday. She and I were looking forward to it, as I had heard some good things about it. We ordered 4 dishes and we just kind of liked one of them. We had potstickers and they were soggy and very doughy, flavor was off, didn't eat them. The Mongolian beef was so salty (I like salt) and no other flavor. I was excited for the don don noodles, as I get those at MCCB- the small pieces of pork seemed to have been microwaved or cooked for the second time. Not sure and no flavor either. The dry chili chicken had a bit of flavor, but when you'd bite into it, you would get a splash of the oil. I don't know, the food just seemed microwaved or not fresh. Actually there were just 2 other tables and we were there around 7. The table next to us ordered and left right away, I saw they left food on their plate. Should have done the same! Felt bad for my friend!

Could have been an off day for them. Not sure, but so many other options around there, that I don't think it's worth another chance.

The food gives you diarrhea. They may not be sanitizing their stuff correctly or I don’t know…. Never coming back…

As a native Chinese student, I would say the dishes here are well below average as a Chinese restaurant. I don’t know how the owner got photos with so many American politicians, but clearly the food is bad.
