All the staff are actively friendly and welcoming. I love coming here for karaoke, sometimes with friends, and sometimes I drop in by myself. Different levels of crowd, sometimes a group for a birthday party is there. They have great pizza and fries. They should have a larger size of fries as an option. Good selection of cocktails too.

Went for the bottomless brunch for pride and it was amazing!

Great food (ultimate fried chicken sandwich A++, elevated comfort food). Cocktails were delicious, my party had 3 different flavored mules and each came with a cute little rubber duck. Staff was welcoming and attentive! We stumbled upon it while walking down the street and heard the crowd having so much fun. So glad we stopped and caught the last hour of drag brunch! Had a wonderful time!

Service seemed good but the food never arrived. The server said the kitchen was small and they were too backed up 45 mins after we ordered. We sat in the bar area which had many open tables. Looked like the back patio was full, so they said. This restaurant needs to get their kitchen act together. Never have eaten there and I guess we never will. Adios Lark

For a bar, they sure do make it hard to order a drink. The wait staff here are terrible. I'm trying to give you money, do you not want it? I will think twice about coming back since the servers don't want to do their jobs.

Rolled into Lark Restaurant & Bar and spent about $45. Grabbed a wood‑fired Meat Lover’s pizza, a Caesar salad to share, and a couple of crafty cocktails on the patio. The pizza crust was spot on, crispy, chewy, and packed with toppings and the salad was fresh. Patio’s chill with games and DJs on weekends, and the staff was super friendly. Classic Lakeview hang‑out, it’s a keeper.

My fiancĆ© and I have had a rough couple of weeks as we are recently engaged and are venue ā€œshoppingā€ and this was our ā€œcelebrationā€ in deciding on our venue. We saw Pixel was hosting and KNEW we had to come today. We have not had any brunch festivities in months and this was an Ah-mazing experience!
She has always made everyone feel included even if it’s as a simple as it being your first time at a drag show! The food came out quick and the drinks… omg… our server ā€œEllenā€ (sMiles) was such a delight! He turned up our atmosphere!! We then of course had the Pixel show! And can I just say ,you have to be Tip-Ready! She dominated the dance floor, took over the restaurant and while talking to us individually, provided a welcoming experience. She not only entertains while performing, but also likes to walk around off-show and get to know her crowd individually to cater. Which I grandly appreciate! I love this location and cannot stop suggesting it for brunch! Come check out Lark and their performances!!

I visited Lark in Chicago with my best friend for Valentines, I'm visiting from Canada, and we were eager to immerse ourselves in the local queer culture. It was her first time experiencing a live drag performance, and I was excited to share this moment with her.

Our server, Miles, was fantastic—upbeat and funny, providing excellent service throughout our visit.

While the food we ordered didn't quite meet our expectations, I believe we may have chosen dishes that weren't to our taste; other plates coming out of the kitchen, especially the fried chicken, looked amazing.

Unfortunately, the drag show itself was underwhelming. Having attended vibrant performances in Vancouver, Victoria, Montreal, and Quebec City, I found this one lacking, despite the stunning costumes. During the show, the performer seemed to clock us as straight (incorrectly as one of us is bi, and the other is trans), and her demeanor shifted noticeably. At one point, there was an embarrassing incident where we thought we were being called up, and after we sat down she loudly proclaimed that they don't celebrate straight people and, if anyone was straight, to "get the f*** out."

Feeling uncomfortable, we decided to pay our bill and leave. This experience left us feeling excluded and unwelcome. If it weren't for the outstanding service from Miles, I'd rate the experience lower.

Hands down, great service and show! They go above and beyond to get to know you and the service is outstanding. Noe was our server and he exceeded our expectations and made sure everything was served prompt and perfectly. Pixal was our performer and I want to be just like her! She is a goddess! Highly recommend for your weekend brunch.
