The food and service is always consistently good. The staff are always friendly. The noise level can be a bit loud and a little difficult to enjoy conversation without shouting. My voice was a little hoarse after leaving. They do air RuPaul's Drag Race with sound and captions which is nice. My server, Ian, was very attentive without being intrusive which is a fine line and he did a great job. I find the appetizers on the expensive side. $17 for (2) Arancini balls at a casual dining restaurant? They are very good and substantially sized. I almost always order the Lark Lemon pizza with the Neopolitan crust.

I want to preface this review by saying I’ve been to Lark many times before, and my experiences have been inconsistent. This review reflects my most recent visit.
I stopped by Lark on Friday, January 9, to grab dinner before meeting friends for an early birthday celebration. The bar area was packed due to RuPaul’s Drag Race being on TV, so I sat at the bar since I was alone and didn’t want to take up a table.
I ordered the Chipotle Lime Chicken sandwich with tater tots—and the wait was excessive. The kitchen was moving extremely slowly, which was noticeable not only to me but to other patrons at the bar as well. When my food finally arrived, it was disappointing. The chicken was shredded and poorly presented, barely warm, and overall unappetizing. The dish was a complete miss, and I wouldn’t recommend ordering it.
As someone who has visited Lark multiple times, consistency and food quality clearly need attention. There are solid dishes—especially during brunch—but outside of that, I would proceed with caution.

I felt like I stumbled upon one of Chicago’s best kept pub secrets in Boystown. Their holiday decor is perfect! Seasonal cocktails so cool. The crab Rangoon dip and cheese breadsticks were insanely good. Get all 4 styles of pizzas they have wood fired there! Dubai chocolate cake for dessert will take you days to finish but well worth it! They do drag brunch on the weekends! Awesome place for private parties from bingo to karaoke! Go, go, go! @chicagopescetarian

Just got into town and staying around the corner! We did a take out order and got the ham and shrooms pizza and side caeser salads. It was ready right on time and was SO GOOD! 10/10 would recommend!

The food and drinks were great. The closing manager on Sunday night 10/19 was fantastic. We had a large obnoxious group that can be sometimes a lot to deal with it and through it all he offered quick service while juggling so many different tables. Working in hospitality is not easy… people demand so much and there is very little thanks. I just want to extend a very kind and gracious Thanks for dealing with a loud table.
