Family-run for 40 years. The most authentic Sonoran-style Mexican food. The carne asada is marinated for days, and the handmade tortillas are divine. Portions are huge and prices are fair. The patio is festive with string lights. The horchata is a must. Always a warm welcome.

Really solid all around, huge portions, good food and even better sauce! Exactly what I was looking for and so great they’re a local business. Just look at how stuffed this veggie burrito is 😍 beyond the food, it was just a great value. Will absolutely order again soon!

Went here over the weekend for dinner, my boyfriend and I got the same thing. We ordered the tampiqueña plate, best tampiquena ive had in a while. The salsas are good as well, good flavor and spice to them. Our server was very nice and friendly too.

Awesome little spot with great prices. Authentic flavor and a very hard working waitress. It was busy and she was the only server. I work in fine dining and seeing her work multiple positions was incredible. Thank you for the great meal and service friends at La Casita Restaurant!!

Honestly they over price their food. Also burritos always come with sour cream and cheese, and here well they charge for that. Il rather get burritos somewhere else.

Very good Mexican restaurant in Belmont-Cragin. My daughter thinks its the best in the area. I had the chicken enchilada with mole sauce. Very good. We also get some chile rellenos for the table. So good.

Their carne asada is so tasty, just as their rice and beans. Their green enchiladas are my fave! This is our go-to spot for Mexican food

We ordered two enchilada dinners when the bill came, it was 14.25 for the enchilada dinners with an additional $7.50 for chicken for each enchilada dinner
Isn't enchiladas filled with a filling? This was Highway robbery with a total bill of $51 not including a tip! And we had water to drink!
I will never go there again. They just robbed us!!!!!!
AND LOOK WHAT THE RESPONSE IS! then what is enchiladas?

Hello Sandy we appreciate your feedback. Just to clarify the enchilada dinner does not come with stuffing. In the menu is written that the meat is an extra charge. At Las Casitas Restaurant we pride ourselves on great customer service.
We are traveling in town and wanted to get a nice bite to eat after a long day out on the town. When googling, we seemed this place was almost too good to be true because of the such high reviews. After getting seated, the three dips were pretty good, but the chips were a bit stale. I asked the waiter if they sold queso, and he said yes and said that they have one with meat, or one with beans, so I ordered the one with beans because I really like refried beans. The "queso" came out and it was just straight refried beans and melted shredded cheese with a ton of oil that was built up on the side. I also ordered the chimichanga and it was just filled with straight "ground beef" with seemingly nothing else in it. I also never got a price of the "queso" because it was not on the menu and once paying for my tab, it was more than my entire chimichanga. All of this on top of the bland guacamole makes my entire party deciding to not ever come back to this establishment. Hope they can get the problems fixed.
