Las Delicias on Montrose Avenue in Chicago captivates with its authentic fusion of Mexican and Guatemalan cuisine, dishing out flavorful highlights like the tender carne asada, satisfying chile relleno with perfectly cooked rice and beans, and fresh made-to-order chips paired with zesty salsa, all in a cute, clean, and homey atmosphere that feels welcoming for families or quick bites. The menu boasts affordable variety, from hearty bistec a la mexicana to refreshing papayas in three styles, with portions that are generous and service that’s friendly and attentive, though wait times can stretch during peak hours due to everything being prepared fresh, and some dishes might benefit from bolder seasoning options—still, it’s a reliable four-star gem for anyone seeking genuine Latin American flavors without the fuss.
One of the best Guatemalan restaurants I've found. We came by it through word of mouth. They have traditional dishes that taste just like it was made in Guatemala. I had Revolcado, Rellenitos, Pupusas de loroco, and Atol de Plátano. Fresh tortillas come with the main dishes. I make it a point to visit here on my trips home. I also send friends and family here for authentic Guatemalan food.

The pupusas at this place are delicious. Full of flavor, especially topped with their green salsa. Come hungry because the pupusas are filling 😋

Ordered a large take out order with two other families with young kids and while we were waiting for it to get ready, our toddlers were getting squirrely and one of the workers brought over popsicles for them!
The food was delicious!!!

Since they fired the baker who made delicius bread . Idon’t like it anymore I don’t recommend it .it’s my opinion and I don’t support abusive people .
I always took my family to eat at this place and everything was very nice and delicious. Unfortunately the customer service is the worst. How sad that this started since they opened the second location and the workers took their own reins of the place since the owner is not in the place like before, and there is no longer that quality of service.
