Good location, time to get food was fast. Customers service could have been a little bit better- I will give 3 stars for that. Coffee was lukewarm and $4.99 for a 6 oz cup- 1 star. Ordered the steak medium, eggs over easy, bacon and hashbrowns. Steak was chewy- no pink anywhere insight. Hashbrowns were room temp, bacon was over cooked and I sent it back and asked for a replacement- it still was not good for $6 and thin slices. My kid ordered the chopped steak, eggs and hashbrowns- she reached for the salt a few times and I had to stop her. Oh… $2.50 to add regular slice of cheese - to eggs- server told me it was for location - not a good excuse for to tax people for a diner experience.
Not crowded considering we were there for the Chicago marathon

We walked in at 2:00pm to get a seat and was told they close early for the marathon… 20 hours before the marathon starts!
No reason or explanation but simply rude!

Great, classic diner. Omelette and hash browns done right! Friendly and quick service. So good I went twice during my stay!

Typical brunch spot in downtown Chicago. It’s packed with a steady flow of customers coming and going. Although we came on a weekend during brunch hours, we were quickly seated. They have many breakfast and brunch options to choose from. The food is quite oily but there’s endless coffee refills. We enjoyed our time here!

I would give this place 3 out of 5 stars. I ordered the American Skillet, a fruit bowl, and a lemonade. The food was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. The skillet was filling but a bit on the plain side, and the fruit bowl was fresh (the grapes could have been fresher). The lemonade was a can of Minute Maid. Overall, it was an average experience. Good enough for a casual meal, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.

Reasonably priced good breakfast. Ate pancakes, sausage and eggs, no issues with any of the food. Service was good. If you are in area and want a simple traditional breakfast eat here.

This place was so good. The line after we got in was almost the whole outside of the restaurant. I unfortunately was on the phone when food came so no pics. We had gravy and biscuits, French toast, the everything g omelet and the Mexican burrito. Mmmmmmm

Love the open kitchen and they prepare everything from scratch. Food is always fresh. I have food restrictions and I like that I can customize my order in multiple ways. They are very available and kind.

I have no idea why someone wouldn’t like this restaurant. The eggs were perfect, the hash browns were perfect, the ham was perfect. The service was super friendly and our food was out very quickly. And the prices were just right. Not everybody likes diner food, if you don’t then go somewhere else. But if you like great diner food you can’t do better than here.
