Laurel Room (Seasonal Rooftop)

The Laurel Room is located on the roof above Pacific Standard Time. They have done a great job keeping it warm up there even as the temperatures have started to drop. It is completely open so it is only openly seasonally. The views are what you come here for. Cute atmosphere and almost 360 degree views of the city. The food and drinks are okay. This place has a truly beautiful view of the skyline and it definitely feels "bougie" - let's just say it's probably the nicest I've seen people dress in chicago for brunch. It is very expensive for what it is and I don't think the food is quite worth it - the donut was good but our entrees were just fine, and they don't even have espresso....for brunch...they do however have dat 14 dollar avocado toast. Visited the Laurel Room in July. All of their covid guidelines were on point. I felt safe, our server wore her mask the right way, tables were sanitized as soon as parties were leaving and there was hand sanitizer on the table. Our server suggested a Tajin margarita that was amazing!
