Don't order a glass of wine here. During Happy Hour, it is still $15 for basically half a glass of wine.

No dogs anymore? I started coming here with my dog to grab coffee in the mornings after a long walk. Went by last week and saw signs no longer allowing. Their entire marketing was based around dogs! I’m bummed and won’t be going anymore. Starbucks still allows you to grab something while with your dog.

Opportunity to be a neighborhood gem, but falls short. We have been going to L&R since it opened, and it started out really well. Food was good, coffee was good. But it has gotten so busy, they can’t keep up. Food is rushed, and quality shows it, they have to slow order intake due to not being able to keep up with the traffic. Ordering food and coffee will lead to coffee being ready 10 minutes after completing meal. They need a minimum of one additional espresso machine to support volume. I am pretty sure the amount of people they have inside would be considered a fire hazard. People take up tables by putting phones or other things to save spots. Yesterday, when we were there, the entire time we were there a table was not being used but had a backpack and a water bottle sitting at it. Flow is awful, can’t move around during peak times.

This place is a headache. Always packed with people (which is fine, but the staff doesn’t manage the flow). Lines out the door but only one cash register open. After you order, there is nowhere to sit because people are holding entire tables for other people who aren’t there. When you finally get your food, your drink from the coffee bar comes out 10 minutes after you’re done eating. Such a shame, it’s a neat restaurant but poorly managed.

The coffee is good and I love how dog friendly it is, but the waits are always crazy. Even if there’s 1-2 people in the place, you’ll still somehow be waiting 10 minutes for your drink

Find it curious how constant advertisement as a pet friendly yet not allowed to bring pets? I see a lot of reviews of this place being dog friendly, but saw several people today get turned away because they had their dogs in tow. Suspicious grab for attention? Change in policy? I don't know if I can keep frequenting a place that goes against its initial principles and adopts deceitful practice of false advertisement and self promotion.

*NOT DOG-FRIENDLY*

I’ve been coming to Layla & Ringo’s since the day they opened, and what initially drew me in was their clear branding as a dog-friendly café. Over the past couple of months, I’ve visited multiple times with my dog, seen countless others do the same, and never once encountered an issue. In fact, I was just there last Friday for nearly two hours with my dog — no questions, no problems.

So, I was genuinely surprised and disappointed to be told today that only service dogs are allowed inside. If that’s the policy, I completely respect it. However, what’s unacceptable is the continued advertising and public image that Layla & Ringo’s is a dog-friendly establishment — which, evidently, is no longer true.

A quick Google search for Layla & Ringo’s still describes it as a “dog-friendly coffee shop that welcomes pets both inside and on its patio,” even highlighting features like a “Dog Stick Library” and “pup-approved drinks.” Your Instagram also features photos of dogs sitting comfortably at tables. This messaging is misleading to customers who come expecting the same welcoming environment you’ve long promoted.

If policies have changed, that’s your prerogative — but please be transparent about it. As a loyal customer, it’s disappointing to feel misled by an establishment I’ve supported and recommended to fellow dog lovers.

I loved their strawberries and cream latte, so I was really excited to try their blueberry pie latte, but i think they gave me the wrong drink. I should have known it was wrong since the color looked off. i think i ended up getting some kind of maple latte.

This place is popping!
Lots of people are in and out, and I understand why! The line moves quickly, and there were plenty of options on the menu. The wait for my order was just about 10 minutes.
I tried the iced maple spice latte and salted chocolate chip cookie. The latte was good, although the espresso was not particularly strong. The flavor was exactly as marketed. I tasted the maple and I tasted the spice! It wasn't too sweet, yet sweet enough. The chocolate chip cookie was absolutely perfect! It has crispy edges and a soft and chewy center. I loved it!
Plenty of customers sat inside and worked remotely on their laptops. I noticed there were a few tiny cubby like private rooms for people to close the door for some privacy.

Really laid back place to hangout or work remotely. They have small focus rooms too to take calls in. Good coffee as well

I ordered a 20oz Fig honey iced tea. The cup was completely filled with ice and only 70% of the height had liquid. So yeah, like 2oz...

I love coming here but the food takes forever to come. I’ve waited upwards of 20 - 25 minutes for my food to come out.
