Yvonne was an incredible server!! My parents were visiting me for their first time in Chicago and the food and service left a wonderful impression!
Enjoyable location, atmosphere and food. Everyone at the table enjoyed there main dishes and sides. I would highly recommend it.
Outstanding service and an incredible meal. I had the tuna crudo appetizer as my entree and it was the absolute best I've ever had. Unique and enough for two people! The margarita was fantastic without the tartness that comes with many bottled margaritas. This was very authentic. Everything was very reasonably priced. What a wonderful find!! I will be back!
Place is done well, great ambiance!! Service staff was attentive. Food was great. . . just short of perfect. . . I had the skirt steak with chimichurri sauce . . . Meat was high quality, cooked well . . . the chimichurri fell short. . . it was missing the POP.. We also had the scallops . . .and it was same thing. . . high quality food, cooked perfect . . . just missing the mark . . . Would go back in a heartbeat . . . everything was 9/10. . .
Love Leña Brava! The grilled octopus is my favorite! Wonderful beverage selection and the service was impeccable! Highly recommend!
All drinks were excellent. All food was excellent but I do not recommend the ceviche if you're looking for a traditional preparation.
Great spot for “upscale” Mexican cuisine. Had an early dinner here with the family. Good service, excellent food (coal
/ wood fired cooking), and I felt the value was spot on. I’ll defiantly be back and looking forward to trying Cruz blanco which is a shares this location and offers more casual environment.

Incredible! Highly recommended for a good meal
I would like to suggest the kitchen add more Mexican entrees as the menu was very limited, it felt more like a Mexican steakhouse but no complaints our meal and drinks were exceptional

I had such a great experience here! My husband and I went for dinner, and everything was top-notch — from the delicious food to the wonderful service. I really enjoyed every moment and can't wait to go back, whether it's for another date night or a fun outing with my girlfriends. Highly recommend!

Everything was good, except for an issue with my card: Overall, the experience was positive, but at the end of the visit, the waitress lost my card and it took over 30 minutes to get it back. For more than 20 minutes, no one knew where it was, which was quite uncomfortable and concerning.
Got the ribeye sandwich for lunch. It is not balanced at all. The onions and poblano was all sauted and if you add greasy ribeye and cheese to that mix my campos bread was all soaked. Did not like the mix, it all tasted like grease (it kept me thinking… maybe you should skip the cheese?), and it is not like I prefer salads I LOVE greasy burgers but this was just too much.
Also I HATED that they did not put guero peppers on my sandwich that is part of the item description. If you do not have certain ingredients at least let me know in advance so I can change my order.
I cannot talk about service because it was awesome but we were the only table at the restaurant so it was expected.
Last but not least the only reason why this is 2 stars instead of 1 is that the Bread is phenomenal. It really is, they could sell it on the street for whatever number and they would run out of it instantly. You have it there, just please make it work!
Brought family for their first visit and was not disappointed! Service was on-point across the entire team. Best margaritas ever (and I'm a Southwest visitor)...and every single dish, one after the other, blew us away. Don't skip the guac or street corn. The new additions of the grilled shrimp and shrimp/lobster tacos deserve their own awards. Stylish and comfy💛
Food was good but a little disappointed in the overall night. Advertised as offering valet-no valet offered. One of the margaritas ordered didn't appear to have even one shot of tequila. One of the entrees ordered was a large plate which to me equates to a complete entree. The dish was seared scallops. The scallops were average in size and there were only three on the plate?! I wouldn't call this a large plate but rather an appetizer portion. The dish itself was tasty but very minimal so very disappointing. Overall meh..disappointing.
In the city with no shortage of Mexican restaurants, this place nailed it. their creativity and originality stands out and clearly demonstrates that they have done their research. The steak fruits were delicious and we definitely need to come back and try the rest of the menu.
