Favorite restaurant in Chicago. One of few restaurants in Chicago with actual character. Every dish is incredible, but I always come back for the mussels and the steak frites (manion style obviously). 10/10
Phenomenal food - nothing too crazy just exceptionally executed seasonally inflected French-ish fare. The wine list is superb and half priced bottles on Monday are an insane deal. Great help from Nicola and Ryan selecting wine and food and taking care of our luggage through the meal (we were heading straight to the airport from dinner.) Perhaps it was just the wine deal but a restaurant entirely full at 530pm (on a Monday) is a great sign.
Everything was absolutely delicious. My only criticism is that it is a very “bright” environment and therefore really loud. Even sitting across from my husband at a two top, we had to lean in to hear one another.
