This is the best kept secret in Chicago. A charming place with the best food + service you can find & at such a fair price point. There are no ends to the charms of Le Petit Paris ✨️ ♥️If you try to go here with an attitude or rude sense of entitlement you'll be asked to leave and to never return. This experience is a treat and should be enjoyed with respect and happiness. There are many places to go be miserable in this city so please stay away for our hidden Gems. ?

Traditional French in a cozy atmosphere. The owner, Alain, is a sweetheart to say the least. The menu of traditional French favorites never fails nor does the wine selection. The owner never allows us to tip. Instead, he simply asks we leave something for his staff.

Le Petit Paris, without question, is my favorite restaurant in Chicago. Alain is an extremely talented chef, so whatever choices you make from the menu are guaranteed to be exemplary. When you dine here it's an absolute must to order something from each course. This is a traditional European restaurant, where one sits with company and enjoys conversation during the meal. Enjoy your food, enjoy your company, enjoy your host. Alain welcomes everyone in as if it were his home, his passion for hospitality and good food makes Le Petit Paris the best kept secret in Chicago. If you're looking to get a break from the rush rush rush, me me me lifestyle, this is the place to go.

Made a reservation for 4 people. Called many times to add an extra person. No one picks up. Left a message about this and requested for a call back. No one got back. When we went, the owner was very rude. He told us to wait to set the table up, only to say 30 minutes later he can’t accommodate us. He also implied that we can’t afford his food. A very rude and racist man!!

Walk into a slice of heaven from the mean streets of a busy city. Super chill, real and true. The food is absolutely amazing. I am very pleased and will be back. This is not your average fast paced place to eat. Sit down and chill.

Super charming and super delicious! We had the pork chops, calf liver, of course had to try the escargot, and everything was authentic and served warmly by the owner. We will definitely be back! Perfect for a date night!

A very unique, unexpected, and charming experience! Total hidden gem. Le Petit Paris is a small, cozy, and unassuming French bistro in the bottom of a Streeterville condo building. Be patient because you'll be seated when they're ready for you - and they're typically running 15-20 mins behind. To start, we had a really good Caesar salad, amazing baked escargot, and the coziest French onion soup. Entrees are very well priced for the size and great quality. Highly recommend the Coq Au Vin and the Duck a l'orange. This isn't your traditional dining experience.

The VERY best restaurant in Chicago! The owner assures each table is taken care of and the food, which is wonderful, is a value!! Wouldn't visit Chicago without a meal and the Petite Paris!

There is no where quite like Le Petit Paris. You will feel like you stepped into another world, a place you will want to visit again and again. Alain is the perfect French restaurateur, charming and welcoming with the loveliest French accent. The food is incredible and prices extremely reasonable. Give it a try and you will wonder how you missed this jewel of a restaurant!! Steven

We have going to this restaurant for years, and although the owner / server has always been eccentric, he has until last night been attentive, and the food has been excellent. Last night the food was only good, and the portion size was small for the price. There was a mistake with the wine order, and a second round of drinks was never offered, and we couldn't get his attention to fix this. And he said there was no coffee or tea to be had at the end of the meal. ?? Sadly, we won't be coming back.
