As a wedding photographer, I absolutely loved working at this venue. It has a stunning 1920s Gatsby-inspired style, lots of beautiful light, and incredibly photogenic interiors. The second floor lounge with the red velvet curtains and sofas is next-level — truly unforgettable.
The food was excellent, the service was amazing, and the coordinator kept everything running perfectly. Highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a stylish, elegant, and unique space for their wedding or event.
We had the pleasure of working at The Wellsley on several recent weddings. The venue, itself, is stunning: a warm and inviting space that gives an intimate wedding a very classic and grand feel. Raphaella, our point of contact is fantastic, always communicating clearly with our events team, accommodating the couple’s questions and needs, and making sure everything ran smoothly. Raphaella’s professionalism and attention to detail made the events seamless, and we truly enjoy collaborating with her and the rest of The Wellsley's team. Looking forward to the next one!
Fantastic venue. Extremely professional. From the beginning planning stages to the day of our event this team is top notch. I can’t say enough good things about all of them. They cleaned the sidewalks before our guests arrives and had everything in tip top shape. Staff was helpful and friendly and they truly know events and whatnot takes to make them successful.
My fiancé and I had the pleasure of attending a friend's wedding here, and it was absolutely breathtaking. This was my first visit to Chicago, and the venue was truly top-notch. A beautiful setting for a memorable occasion!
Beautiful space, friendly staff.

Our daughter’s wedding was celebrated there last week and the experience was simply outstanding. The spectacular venue was enhanced by an attentive and professional staff. The meal lived up to every expectation we had for a Boka group restaurant. They were extremely flexible and accommodating when it came to our floral arrangements and table organization. Throughout the entire evening Brian Crawford the Director of the venue was present and available when questions arose. I thought it was an extraordinary experience and would recommend this venue enthusiastically and unequivocally positively.
Stunning venue for the couple who want to have a unique experience for their guests. I personally love the vintage feel and the layout. One could have multiple setups and it will be gorgeous and breathtaking! I would love to work with anyone with a similar vision. The multiple rooms allows you to wow your guests and have a great flow. The food ermmm Boka Catering outdid themselves! Delicious
Place is very clean and nice. And the workers are not too bad overall. That would be the place to go if you had to go.
I wish I could give many more stars to this authentic French bistro. The warm ambiance and interior design brought be back to Paris immediately. The staff is professional and serious about their work -- very refreshing in the USA! I've had several dishes, each one equally delicious and beautifully plated. One evening, the chef and his family came to our table, and we were honored and a bit star struck! BRAVO!!!
I've only been here for Happy Hour, but it was a great experience both times. The staff behind the bar were engaging regardless of how busy it got and the food was good. I see now that it will be closing soon and is only doing private events until the end of the year. It's unfortunate.
