Such a cute place and beautiful summer patio!Loved the goat cheese and peaches salad. The garlic butter that came with the steak and frites was heavenly and the pork chop was so tender juicy.The server was nice. One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago!

We decided to check out Le Sud on a Friday night and were incredibly disappointed across the board. Our reservation was for 8 pm and we were seated around 9:30 pm. While the manager, Kyle, did comp two rounds of drinks, there wasn’t a lot of space for our group of four to stand so we constantly felt in the way and other parties who arrived after we did were seated before we were. Once we were seated, things didn’t improve as the service was incredibly slow and many items on the menu were sold out by the time we could finally order. Everyone at my table agreed that while the food was fine, it was not worth the wait. Not sure I’ll ever go back.

This is a neighborhood restaurant that is very trendy. The service is always good, they have a great team. The ambiance is my favorite, they decorated amazing for Christmas, but their Valentine's, and rest of the year is very cozy. Food is pretty good!! They have special events where is a different menu, their usual menu is Mediterranean based. Totally recommended.
I haven't been here in a while, but I had a fantastic experience tonight. This is the Le Sud I know and love! My friend and I dined here on a Wednesday evening, and we were pleasantly surprised that it was Wine Wednesday: half off almost all bottles of wine. Woo hoo! In addition to a lovely Pinot Noir, we enjoyed the burrata appetizer, which truly was one of the best burratas I have ever had. I had the potato gnocchi with shrimp for my entree, which was delicious and quite filling. Our server was fabulous and the whole experience was delightful. Great value for what we had, too. I look forward to returning soon!

We went to Le Sud for Valentine’s Day and had a really great experience. Our server, Matthew, was wearing a red checkered shirt for the occasion, which I got a kick out of. He was super personable and knowledgeable about the menu. We sat upstairs and the ambiance was really pleasant. The food was so delicious! I definitely want to try more dishes on the menu.

We waited over an hour for our food (this was with a reservation) and were served the wrong Hors-d'œuvre. After finally getting the check at after 10:00pm (got there at 8:30) we left with a dessert to go that was smaller than the one they served in the restaurant? Save your money and go to Andros Taverna!
