Food is good i love the sweet and sour soup but service is HORRIBLE!!! They basically force you to tip even if they dont provide great service because it wasnt the greatest experience. We paid and she demanded on why I didnt tip on the card receipt (even though it was going to be in cash) and basically forces a tip from us even though we didnt even order much or stay for so long to really receive “great service” i dont not mind tipping but it is WRONG to force it out of people, imma just learn to make that soup i will not be coming here again. Goodbye

We almost didn't want to eat here because of the 3.6 rating. We are definitely glad we did All our food was great Kung Pao chicken was on point hot and sour soup and wonton soups were amazing and very big portions. Would definitely here again don't let the 3.6 start rating steer you away.

Visited from out of town on a random visit. No idea what all the 1 stars are about because this place slaps. Some of the best food I've had in awhile. Every dish was hit out the park (ordered 4 items). The duck was perfect! You hear me PERFECT. The place is really clean, tons of menu options, and the service was great. The people were friendly and very accommodating to whatever we needed. My waitress even waited for me to try the duck to get my reaction; she loved my over the top enjoyment response. To give an establishment a 1 star based on a server is crazy. Next time I'm in The Chi, I'll be going back for more duck. Thanks Lee Wing Wah for the great meal.

I always order takeout at this spot but today I decided to dine in with a combination fried rice and everything was terrible. I would NOT recommend, I got my food and wasn’t asked for refills on my drink or if I needed anything. I decided not to tip and the waitress cursed at me in her language not knowing I understood her, while her other coworkers were looking at what was happening they didn’t say a word. I expressed what happened and they didn’t seem to care at all. AVOID!!
PS: If I could give 0 stars I would

The workers were very disrespectful and tried to make our party of 5 pay together and tried to include a 25% tip. Then we asked to separate it and was met with another attitude (the restaurant wasn’t busy) then we got our separate tickets and the employee signed all of our receipts and tipped herself. The food was also very mediocre I don’t recommend this place at all it was the only place without a line for a reason I guess!

Food was decent but the service was horrible. My friends and I waited close to an hr for 2 plates of food. When we got into the restaurant, there were barely 2 tables filled including our own. We ordered chicken fried rice 2x, three treasure chow mein and pot stickers. We had to cancel 1 order of chicken fried rice cuz they’re taking too long. Then they brought the chow mein out when we were already sick of waiting, had a few bites and took it home. Worst experience ever and I never been there til today. They forgot our order, we sat down and ordered our food before a party of 10 showed up and they received their food before we did and 1 other table too. I would NOT recommend this spot. I would tell my coworkers not to dine in here. Worst first experience ever.

Food was good but service was HORRIBLE. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with “what do you want?”. They rolled their eyes multiple times and had attitude the whole time. Again food was good.

First of all I paid 18 bucks for soggy “sesame chicken” (it tastes like sweet and sour sause with ketchup) genuinly nasty. I tried to ask them a question they ignored me 5 times terrible service I really don’t recommend to eat here

I love coming here to eat when I come to Chinatown. The place is quiet and they give good service. They’re not overwhelming.

Service was extremely poor, server had attitude we came during lunchtime ask for the lunch menu. She quickly snatched up the dinner, menus and slam down the lunch menus. No smile, no welcoming, tone or anything.
Food was very mediocre, of course, fresh, but lacked flavor or seasoning, had to ask for pre-package, soy & sour sauce, because the condiments placed on the table were disgustingly dirty.
Try to have a nice lunch experience. However, I will never return to this location. Everyone was rude and made me rethink the type of life that I was living. I wouldn’t take my dog here to eat!

The food here is honestly SO good but unfortunately the service here is awful. I’ve dined in twice and both times our server was very short with us, rolled her eyes, slammed plates on the table, and this was all while receiving dirty looks from other staff members. I never leave bad reviews and I understand having bad days at work because I’m a server myself, but I have never been so genuinely uncomfortable while dining inside of a restaurant before. Maybe order your food to go???????
