This place is great. The tables and chairs provide excellent cover when outside cooks off like a war zone. Took my uncle here a few weekends ago and all the gunfire gave him a Nam flashback.

This is my new place for fried catfish fillet. Great tasting food for a great price. 4 years later, and now you can't order delivery. I've literally tried for a month to place a order. SN: I was told the delivery sites weren't paying them so they just do walk ins. They also don't pick up their phone so I can check if they're even open before I go up there. 3/10/25 update: just went up there at 3:30 and they were randomly closed. They need to make a Facebook and Instagram so they can keep their customers updated.

I want to show some Love for Legends . The food never disappoints and the owner is always in good spirits willing to serve the community as he knows how. Even when he feels that he has inconvenienced you he will make sure to correct it. This evening I had a call in, when I came to pick up my order he made sure that I did not wait long and gave me more chicken than what I thought to get it. He shows love. I appreciate that. And it has a good taste!

I ordered via GrubHub. The food was great, good portions and they followed my special instructions. They replaced the cakes I ordered with an extra wing and perch, wish that they called me to see what I would have liked instead. Also, their water is listed as 1.5 LT but it's only .5 LT. I will go in person if I can. I like their mild sauce too. Not too sweet or spicy, just right.

I was introduced to Legend by a couple who live in Missouri never heard of them live down street. I tasted the chicken wings and catfish in June at a baby shower fell in love. The spirit of the set up a great atmosphere great customer service.

NOT WORTH THE WAIT! Pretty good tasting food actually, but not worth the long waits. I’ve called on 4 different occasions at different times of the day and the service is always extremely slow. Even if you call and order they’ll say 15-20 minutes, which is fine, but then when you show up after about 20 minutes to pay and pick up the order they say it isn’t ready and then you have to sit and stay an extra 25-30 minutes waiting on your order. Definitely not worth the wait with so many other fast food options and Harold’s less than two blocks away on Vincennes Ave.????
