This was a wonderful stop during a trip to Chicago. It's a tiny chocolatier shop with many selections for chocolates. It was a cold day so we were craving a hot chocolate. They had a handful of options but we tried the Triple Chocolate one. It was delicious and not too pricy either. We were craving more by the time we finished. The workers were kind and helped us figure out which chocolates were allergen free. They also offered their preferences when asked which was nice of them. Definitely stop by here when you get a chance if you ever want something chocolatey!

A cute coffee shop with lots of chocolates and pastry among with sandwiches and crapes. I enjoyed a vegetable crape freshly cooked and delivered to my table. Orders are placed at the register. Seating is limited. There is a Parisian vibe and it was very nice to sit amongst the amazing candies and macarons.

Leonidas Cafe was an incredible experience. It does great justice to the magical experience of walking into a chocolate shop. I ordered the three egg omelet with turkey, Brie and mushrooms, which was excellent. It's a good idea to balance the sweet dishes with a savory dish if you come! They also have a chocolate selection, gelato, crepes and pastries in addition to their great coffee selections. What a wonderful place to visit. This is definitely a cafe that people should try. Thank you for amazing experience!

This place is a rare gem. I came in for coffee and some sweets after copilot directed me here based on that criteria and this place is just so over the top incredible. They allowed me to very slowly browse every chocolate and when I was done they offered me a menu with unexpected breakfast offerings. I struggled to decide between the cranberry crepe or apple and Brie, so I asked what they suggested and went with the apple and Brie and let me tell you. It is heaven. So first the crepe, it’s so perfectly thin, I’m very judgey about my crepes and this one could not have been made any better. And the filling, the soft sweetness of the ales was balanced exquisitely by the rich savory flavor of the melted Brie. Together, it provided me one of the best and most memorable breakfasts of me like. We also tried the coffee and I had the dulce de leaches and just yum, so yum. I could drink it all day. I’m going to pick out a selection of macarons and chocolates before I go, and I’m so excited to try them because I know they just going to be heaven. I’ll be back for those cranberry crepes and my husband wants to check out how authentic the Belgium wales are since he spent some time there and can’t find them in America. Love love love this place, everything was over the top amazing. 20/10 Must visit for anyone.

Delicious crepes that you can easily split with someone. All the coffees and teas are very good and are hot, not lukewarm like some places.

Parisienne hot chocolate is delicious! Nice quality buttery croissant too! They also have the most delicious gifting chocolates. You can choose the chocolate pieces and they will fill a box of your liking. Very European vibes in there, make sure to stop by.

I found this during a weekend in Chicago. I had breakfast here both mornings, as it was charming. I had both breakfasts in their patio area and watched Chicago walk by. The service was warm and prompt; lovely employees. (End of Sept. was my visit) It is a small establishment, so do not bring a family reunion, but both mornings I saw a family of four enjoying breakfast on the patio. This is the GOOD chocolate! Lacking in wax, stabilizers, and nonsense. My husband is ordering my Valentine's Day gift as I type. I would prefer to drive three hours just to enjoy their ambiance and lovely staff.Vegetarian options: Breakfast options are often vegetarian.Parking: This is off Michigan Ave a block or so. It would be easiest to park in a parking garage and walk. It's definitely a locals establishment.Kid-friendliness: It is small and quaint. If your children are well-behaved, this is definitely a place to bring them. They will enjoy the chocolate characters, Gelato, and real hot chocolate. Make a memory.Wheelchair accessibility: This establishment is on street level. It would be tight, but could be done especially during non-busy times. I do not recall the bathrooms being large enough for wheel chairs.

Bought the triple chocolate hot chocolate and peppermint tea. The hot chocolate was friggin' delicious and would 100% buy it again if I'm ever back in Chicago! The peppermint tea was your typical tea that did not disappoint. Both hot beverages were at the perfect temperature to drink right away without burning your tongues. Service was quick since we got there right when it opened and no one else ordering. Without a doubt, I'd recommend this place for their hot drinks.

Delicious breakfast sandwiches and decadent chocolates to choose from. Chocolates are sold by the pound also. Service is fast and consistently friendly. There is some indoor space or sidewalk seating available. It's definitely a great, versatile place for a great meal, chocolates, or both.
