Yummy, delicious, flavorful cookies, and friendly staff. We stood in line outside as they were super busy, but so worth it!
Amazing!

We stopped by Levain Bakery, a 30-year-old institution, and it definitely lives up to the hype. The cookies are perfectly baked—crispy on the outside yet warm and soft on the inside, with an amazing texture that makes each bite memorable. Their coffee is also worth mentioning—smooth, balanced, and pairs perfectly with the baked goods. My wife absolutely loved it as well. A must-visit if you’re in the area!

These are truly the best chocolate chip cookies in town—warm, delicious, and packed with flavor. The cookies are thick, soft, and perfectly indulgent. An absolute must-visit for anyone craving a great cookie.

I donno what was the smell inside as if someone peed. And im used to the cookies in nyc location. They actually give them warm. Its cold here. So idk wouldnt go back. They had outdoor seating. So 3 stars for that atleast

I went back the next day because these cookies were off the hook good. Big fan of the coconut chocolate one and the oatmeal raisin, but the dark chocolate one (all black) wasn't the kind of flavor I was going for. Price was completely worth it, infact these big cookie trends in Portland Oregon are going for more like $7-9 each.
Levain is my favorite place buttt this one has gone downhill. Twice I’ve asked for a cookie warmed and they give me a cold one. Then I asked them to warm it after that, and they didn’t. Or they pretended to but then gave me back a lukewarm cookie. It’s worth walking to the West Loop location because this one sucks. No one is buying a cookie there to eat it at room temperature…

Cookies at Levain's are such a delicious treat! We visited twice during our trip to Chicago. These are hefty cookies with a crispy exterior and soft, fudgey interior. We loved the chocolate chip, double chocolate, and dark chocolate peanut butter chip. There was a small amount of outdoor seating, so that was a nice touch. Would recommend!

You HAVE to eat this warm and fresh!! The chocolate peanut butter cookie was amazing, melts in your mouth. Definitely more cakey texture. Also, whoa, these cookies carry some serious weight to them! Enjoyed every bite of this and decided to bring home more.

I was a bit disappointed by the food and service, it didn’t quite hit the mark.
