If you want a chocolate chip cookie give them a try. Crunchy on the outside but yet soft on the inside. Honestly these cookies are as good as Gideons down in Florida. The chocolate peanut butter is a star on its own. Quick service. In and out in less than 5 minutes. Definitely a good spot for a quick dessert

Worth every bite—these are the best cookies in Chicago (and maybe anywhere)! Levain Bakery is an absolute must-visit. The giant chocolate chip walnut cookies are legendary: crispy edges, super gooey center, perfectly salty-sweet, and packed with huge chunks of chocolate. We tried the classic, oatmeal raisin, and dark chocolate chip—every single one was incredible, fresh out of the oven and still warm!

We stumbled upon Levain Bakery on Clark Street while exploring downtown Chicago—and what a delightful find! This charming little bakery is an absolute gem. The cookies are out of this world, rich and perfectly baked.
Do yourself a favor: stop in for a cookie and a cup of coffee—you won’t regret it! A big shout-out to Vania for her friendly smile and excellent customer service. She made our visit even sweeter!
