This is a nice cozy restaurant with very kind staff and good food. We went here before a Second City Show. It was a convenient walk to the show after dinner. I would add that the restaurants were really clean as well.
We had an early Saturday reservation, it was pretty busy but we were seated right away fast drinks and food service. Cauliflower tacos and bacon burger were amazing. Good portions, price & service
Overall a decent place but bizarre and unhelpful drink menu that includes unmarked ‘two person only' drinks that they refuse to serve unless the customer is splitting the drink with someone else. Again no indication in the menu about this. Why not just serve single portion drinks like literally every bar in the world. Or at least note this in the menu.
The holiday ambiance was great. Large place and there isn't a bad seat. Good place to reserve a larger table. Sándwiches and burgers don't come with fries so that's extra charge. Music got too loud so we ended up yelling at each other.
We were so happy we stumbled across this place! Food was phenomenal-we both loved what we ordered. The ambiance was great and the service was awesome. It will definitely be a place we go back to and refer to our friends!
It was very relaxing and highly enjoyable. Lovely service, everything clean, menu highly varied, and good very good.
Great place to watch any game ! They had one TV put on for us so we could also watch the Fever playoff game (Caitlin Clark) while also watching the Bears and other NFL games. Tim, our server, was a delight. So funny and gave great recommendations. We got the cheese curds and that gave us life! Drink specials on Sundays are also really good with domestics or nutrls buckets.
Anywhere else would be better

My best friend was called a slur and continuously ridiculed by a certain guy in this bar. When talking with a security guard, they reasoned with the other party and did not kick the man out of the bar after we begged him to because we did not feel safe anymore. The LGBTQ+ community is not safe here. Do better.

Sat outside at 5:30 on a Tuesday, and the weather couldn’t have been better. I love their French onion soup—it’s the best in town. My hubby got the garlic Parmesan boneless wings, and they were delicious too. We love the food, service, and atmosphere.

I was walking past LG’s last night and one of the managers randomly offered to buy my friends and me a round of drinks which was awesome. I had never been there before so that was an inviting experience. Definitely will come back when I’m in old town ?

We came for brunch. We had the LG breakfast and avocado toast. The best meal we've had in a quite a while. The toast was awesome, the potatoes, and of course the eggs and avocado. Reasonably priced. Our waitress Alisha was awesome. We sat outside and it was very pleasant. It's clear that this is a very weak run place - all the staff were attentive. Can't say enough good things.

My co-workers and I were here in Chicago on a business trip and we had a great experience at LG’s. Our waitress Kayla and manager Jess took extremely great care of us and accommodated our split-bill needs without question. Food was amazing and drink service was fast. If you’re in town for a short period give this place a shot! You won’t be disappointed.
