Liar’s Club has some of my favorite bands on the regular, so I find myself there a lot. My band has played there too, and it’s a great experience - the room sounds good, with a solid PA system. Gary and the rest of the staff are awesome - the polar opposite of the snooty, hipper-than-thou attitude you get at some rock & roll joints. Drink prices are cheap, and parking is always pretty easy. The clientele is consistently asshole-free. Can’t think of anything bad to say about Liar’s.

We had a damn good time at the Liars Club! All the staff is top notch there. Barry was great and so was the blonde baddie working with him. They worked really fast serving the whole bar while serving up great attitudes! We will definitely go back!

One of the best music venues in Chicago. This bar is authentic, dark, and gritty, so is the music. Expect to get a beer and a shot. I don't know how they do it but the bartenders can hear you over the killer music. Expect to pay a cover in cash. I might be wrong but I think it was a cash bar
