Liar’s Club has some of my favorite bands on the regular, so I find myself there a lot. My band has played there too, and it’s a great experience - the room sounds good, with a solid PA system. Gary and the rest of the staff are awesome - the polar opposite of the snooty, hipper-than-thou attitude you get at some rock & roll joints. Drink prices are cheap, and parking is always pretty easy. The clientele is consistently asshole-free. Can’t think of anything bad to say about Liar’s.

We had a damn good time at the Liars Club! All the staff is top notch there. Barry was great and so was the blonde baddie working with him. They worked really fast serving the whole bar while serving up great attitudes! We will definitely go back!

One of the best music venues in Chicago. This bar is authentic, dark, and gritty, so is the music. Expect to get a beer and a shot. I don't know how they do it but the bartenders can hear you over the killer music. Expect to pay a cover in cash. I might be wrong but I think it was a cash bar

This venue is truly awesome! I recently attended a show at this venue. It was my first time at Liar's Club, and I had a great time. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the venue itself looks super cool. The show was great, and I really enjoyed rocking out with the bands. I highly recommend everyone see a show at Liar's Club.
I like the vibe of this place, but the dark haired girl who was the DJ on Saturday the 14th 2024 was rude. I asked her to play a Ramones song and she plays the song Warthog from another band covering it. I say this isn't the Ramones doing the actual song and could she play an actual Ramones song and she says to me to get away from her and wants nothing to do from me. She said I would have to pay her to get a request. She needs to be fired and Liars Club needs someone more people friendly running the music. 🤔
