I asked Melissa to create a cake based on very specific instructions from my two and a half year old: pink, with sprinkles, and Bluey on top. And! I’m a single mom and the cake was really just for a very small group of people, so I needed Melissa to create something small but a cake, not cupcakes. It was perfect. My kid was delighted, and the cake was delicious. We will order from Life is Sweet again and again.

What a hero! Melissa went above and beyond with a cake for our event. I had a very specific idea in mind, and had floated it to a few other bakeries in the city. The cake needed to be gluten free, include mango, and I had mentioned macarons as a potential decoration. Check, check, and check! Our wedding cake was BEAUTIFUL and SCRUMPTIOUS! It looked and tasted EXACTLY like I wanted it to! It was minimally decorated with a beautiful, rustic look. I just loved the buttery cake and the fluffy icing. It was rich and moist and buttery and not too sweet! Yum yum yum! We have about 12 slices in the freezer and I eat one every day. Thank you Melissa for your professionalism throughout the entire process and for your creativity. The cake was truly a highlight for everyone!
