It's a perfect dive bar. Not too big, not too small. Room for around 20 people. Intimate on the weekdays. They offer specials and merch. CASH ONLY. There is a convenience store nearby for snacks and sandwiches that you can bring to the bar. Again, cash only. I got a Gin and Lemonade as recommended by the bartender, Alex.

Truly, a hidden gem of the neighborhood. Timeless. While it may lack in modern aesthetic, it more than makes up for it with friendliness & charisma.

I love a good dive bar, but this place was low effort even for that category. Bartender made me feel like she wanted me to order my drink to go. Seemed more like a saloon than a dive, and I think they’re proud of that.

it's a nice cozy little dive bar feeling, but it's not a full bar, their cash only and only have like five beers and it's all stuff my dad drank in the '70s. it honestly felt more like I was in somebody's basement

This is a great bar! I came for the first time to see a friend's band play and this is a true neighborhood dive where the bartender knows the regulars and takes great care of everyone who takes care of him. It's definitely an older crowd and the whole place is full of fun characters but the vibes were very friendly and laid back. The music was great. Unlike so many bars these days where you sit with an empty trying to flag down a bartender for 10 minutes, the bartender here was checking in with everyone every few minutes — and this was a packed bar with only one person working. It felt a little like going back in time -- you just don't really see service like that anymore. I almost feel like I shouldn't be helping the secret get out about this place. Definitely will be going back here.

I used to live in the building that this bar is connected to. They illegally stayed open during times that they were required to be closed for COVID, there's always some drunk idiots stumbling around disturbing the residents and stinking up the entire corner with the cigarette butts they litter everywhere. The one time I went in to get a drink it was such an unpleasant experience talking to anyone working there that I will never return. I was a bartender for 15 years, I know how you're supposed to treat people, they clearly don't. The way this joke a bar operates it's shocking they're even still open. If you're looking for a good dive bar go to Oasis Tavern just a few blocks south on Sheridan.
