This is a great bar! I came for the first time to see a friend's band play and this is a true neighborhood dive where the bartender knows the regulars and takes great care of everyone who takes care of him. It's definitely an older crowd and the whole place is full of fun characters but the vibes were very friendly and laid back. The music was great. Unlike so many bars these days where you sit with an empty trying to flag down a bartender for 10 minutes, the bartender here was checking in with everyone every few minutes — and this was a packed bar with only one person working. It felt a little like going back in time -- you just don't really see service like that anymore. I almost feel like I shouldn't be helping the secret get out about this place. Definitely will be going back here.

I used to live in the building that this bar is connected to. They illegally stayed open during times that they were required to be closed for COVID, there's always some drunk idiots stumbling around disturbing the residents and stinking up the entire corner with the cigarette butts they litter everywhere. The one time I went in to get a drink it was such an unpleasant experience talking to anyone working there that I will never return. I was a bartender for 15 years, I know how you're supposed to treat people, they clearly don't. The way this joke a bar operates it's shocking they're even still open. If you're looking for a good dive bar go to Oasis Tavern just a few blocks south on Sheridan.

Great place to have a few drinks, watch sports, and have a great time. The service is phenomenal. Tracey is a wonderful server/bartender. She is very warm and friendly. Food is not served, but you are able to order out from great restaurants around the area.

My new neighborhood bar. A place to meet friends and drink beer. Not fancy beer, beer. A place to unwind and be.

If I could leave no star it would have been too many! They place has sooooooo much potential! But the worst bartender I have ever experienced july 21st 2023! Made fun of me multiple times to my face. She was annoyed to have people at the bar. I have been a bartender for 10 years and came in with industry friends don’t know how they are still open! Pleaseeee avoid if looking for a nice place.

I didnt even wanna give one star not because of the establishment itself but because of the bartender she was not friendly at all her attitude sucked my husband and I are in town for our son and just wanted a nice place to relax and have a few drinks and play some darts bartender had a rude comment for everything I said so we had one drink and left and no she didn't get a tip. I bartended for a long time and how she acted is not how you treat people and I really hope the owner or manager says something to her about this!!!!! Terrible service

Our ship adrift and disabled by libations, through the New Year's Day rains we stumbled across a beacon, a light, calling us toward her. Stepping forward and into the lighthouse, we discover a warmth and festive welcoming atmosphere the counters the cold dark and dreary nights we left behind us outside. An old style and a Guinness please we customarily barked to the bar keep. Repeating this request perhaps thrice, the evening as well as this fine establishment we're now closing requesting our departure back into the New Year's Day Dawn's light. Awakening again on strange wooden floors, a New Year's Day is upon us and an evening of fond memories delight ...
