We snuck in for an early dinner on a Sunday and got a table for 5 with no waiting. The menu was unexpectedly large, with lots to choose from including generous gluten-free breakfast items and substitutions. Service was excellent, and the vibe is a classic small-town, family cafe. We're from Wisconsin, so we were shocked that there was no alcohol on the menu (iykyk), but the food was so delicious we quickly got over it! Known for their fries in beef tallow, massive homemade...
The food was fantastic! We loved everything we ordered, especially the chili and Peri Peri sandwich. The staff was fantastic and we loved the personal attention. Dessert was the best!
We were in the neighborhood and were able to walk in and get a table for a really good Thursday night dinner. Everything we had was delicious - soups, bone in pork chop for the husband and a really good tuna melt (#heatedrivalry) for me. The beef tallow fries are not to be missed. We even got a chicken pot pie to take home for tomorrow's dinner.
