My sister and I are fans of Original Joe's, and we were excited to try this location as the menu is a little different. Okay, maybe we were a little too excited, because we were disappointed. It's best not to have too high of an expectation in life. We had reservations for tonight for dinner at 5 p.m., and we only had to wait a few minutes before our table was ready. As the hostess was seating , she told us we only had 2 hours to dine. Don't spend too much time deciding that to order, because the food did take awhile to come out. In This place is much smaller than their Westlake and Elena's locations. Therefore, I recommend making reservations because I heard a few walk-ins had to wait until 8 or 9 p.m. for a table. If you drive, maybe someone can put your name down while you look for parking. Taking public transportation might be easier. This location feels much more fast-paced, compared to the classic, relaxed feel of the other spots. It's great if you want energy, but not ideal if you're looking for a quiet, celebratory dinner. I could barely hear my sister when she was literally right next to me. There are no private booths here, and if you are at the bar area was extremely crowded. Now it's time to talk about the food. Here's what we ordered and my rating for each one: Shaved Brussels Sprouts Salad - 4/5 This salad was good, and it was certainly shaved very finely. We didn't get it with pepper, but we think if it had lemon juice it would've made a huge difference. My sister asked for a few slices of lemon, and it brought out more flavor in the salad. The spicy Mike- 3/5 This pizza has tomato sauce, mozzarella, red onion, hot honey, jalapeños, and hot sauce. This pizza was a little on the soggy and salty side. This made it hard to it as the pizza wasn't able to hold the weight of the toppings. We originally wanted to order a different pizza(the Italian Job) , but the server told us that people said it was on the sour side, which discouraged us from order

In years past we had often frequented Original and Little Joe's in SF, so pleased to see a return, now identified as Original Little Joe's. The restaurant design is attractive. OLJ's is very popular and by 5:30 pm, full and the bar area was two deep. Hosts and "bus-boys" were on top of the workload. Either the restaurant needed more waiters on the shift, or the kitchen needed more help, as food service suffered from the slows. The cocktail was well made and the wine was a satisfactory pour (ounces). Enjoyed the homemade potato chips immediately served to the table - fun. Pasta pomodoro and chicken pot pie were both tasty, albeit needed seasoning. Took three requests and two different staff to finally receive some parmesan (chunk carried in the staff member's bare hand :-( The restaurant is clearly a locals' hotspot.

What a great addition to the Marina! The French Dip is one of the best in the city. And the quality of pasta and pizzas is on point.

You will never go wrong at this joint. Service is off the charts. Drinks are cold and wet. No surprises on the food, ever.

Very good!!! I took my friends here from out of town and they loved it! I feel like has something for everyone and our waitress (I'm sorry I forgot her name) was soooo attentive and let us know about every allergen when she found out one of us had some! My water was also never empty for more than like 2 minutes. And I left my keys there and they immediately called me! 10/10 for that alone

Had a blast celebrating 2 family birthdays. Multigenerational table. Brought a toddler and tiny baby. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Great vibe kicking it off with pizza martinis and ending with a birthday cake with sparklers. What a great night! Book far in advance for a great experience.

Loved the drinks, caviar and the salad! Wish the zucchini fries were a little crispier but I know it was busy, so probably no one's fault. The chicken parm was a little too salty for my liking but my husband loved it. My son ate the burger and he devoured it.

2:30 reservation - didn't get sat until 2:40 - this restaurant consistently over quotes or under quotes and the service is lackluster and took forever for server to come back and greet us - operating as if the except a flat 20% tip without

Always love Original Joes. The garlic knots are delicious and drinks are yummy. A not pricey for lunch. But fun atmosphere.

It was fabulous, food great, staff very accmodating. We asked for the house made chips...very, very crispy...yummmmm! (they only have the chips at dinner service. Be sure to ask for some marinara to tip them in!). The roast beef dip was HUGE, took half home, caesar salad with crispy chicken...excellent, but the ravioli and the chocolate cake were the best. Can't wait to go back!

The food is always on point. The brunch menu is extensive; you'd assume they'd only be able to deliver on some of those dishes. Yet in my experience everything is delicious, whether a traditional brunch dish or something like their pastas or sandwiches. I really like their Brussels sprouts salad, eggplant parm, pretty much any pasta dish. Their cocktails are wonderful (their espresso martini is the best if it's ever on the menu; it might be seasonal). Their service is the best, really friendly servers who make the meal memorable.

Everything was so great with our visit! Food was delicious, and service was on point. We've been twice now and both times have been consistently good all around. Will definitely be returning. :)
