I was having a bad day and so I stopped in here for a snack to pick myself up and it really worked. I got an horchata, beef empanada, chicken empanada, and a pastelillo with guava and cheese and everything was delicious and five stars. The horchata is so refreshing and good and both empanadas were great, but if I had to pick a favorite, I'd say chicken. The pastelillo was so wonderful and the guava cheese combo really is top tier.The service was also great - the woman behind the counter was so nice and warm and good vibes, and the whole experience was the highlight of my day. I'd definitely be back again to get all the things I ordered again and/or try their Cubano.

Little Lazo’s is great. I come here often and have gotten a lot of things on the menu. It’s a great place to stop in if you want to have an espresso and a pastry in the morning, a chill lunch in the afternoon, or a late night snack. The employees are so nice and treat you like family. And of course the food is tasty too. If you’re coming in hungry get some tacos. They load them up and you’ll leave full

Consistently excellent. Stands out above the rest. Menu is pact with flavor and everything is made with attention to detail. You taste the ingredients of the food here, not the oil it’s cooked it. I like the nice little crisp in every perfectly chopped bite of steak. There’s atalented chef behind this place no doubt. I’ve frequented similar restaurants for the entire stretch of Armitage and Milwaukee in both directions but Little Lazo’s holds the crown!

Tasty cuban sandwiches and they now serve jibarito de bistec which is my favorite meal! I get it with white rice and black beans. It's good and it'll be better once they add garlic, cheese and slightly thicker tostones with crispy edges. I like this place and their empanadas are also tasty. I've also had their enchiladas, chile relleno and steak tacos. It really is a lovely little sandwich shop with surprisingly delicious dishes. Done in for free tortilla chips and salsa.
Flavorful and filling sandwiches! I got a sandwich for breakfast that ended up being my lunch as well. Service was fast, and it was made to order. The place wasn't crowded when I went. They had low salsa music playing. I will definitely go back!

Instructions were not followed for steak sandwiches. This is the second time they don't add cheese which I paid extra for. The meat also had excessive amounts of fat. Salty steak. One of the sandwiches had a long string of black hair in it. It's frustrating when you're using your hard earned money for a meal and you receive it incorrect. Please be more mindful & attentive when taking people's order & making their food.
