The very best. Great food!

Great food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. I eat here often. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is that they often make mistakes on my orders, such as putting on jalapeí±os when I ask for them to be left off. This has happened several times, and it could cause problems for people who are allergic to peppers. Other than this, it's a great little place.

Omg. Just found this place. Its incredible. The number 1 number 2 specials are amazing. The bread is just right. Lightly crisp in the outside warm and sodt on the inside. The onlt reason it is a 4.5 to me is there is no seating and also i like my butter more of a honey butter then a garlic butter.

Quick service. Ingredients we're fresh and flavorful. Also a large number of dishes to choose from. It's also a market for Asian ingredients and take home meals

I checked out this place because of the reviews. I was craving a tofu sandwich, which i usually get from Nhu Lan but it was closed the day that I wanted to go. There weren't that many options for vegetarian banh mi here. & This place is a bit pricey for vegetarian food. The description for the veggie sandwich included tofu in it and since that's what I was really craving, I ordered it. They skimped out on the tofu and there weren't much flavor. It wasn't really that good. I ended up eating half of it and tossing the other half away. I did love their bi chay, way overpriced though. I actually ended up stuffing the bi chay into the portion of the sandwich that I did eat.

Lovely banh mi place with lots of inexpensive options. I had the #2 LSB Special and #12 Pork Belly. The meats were succulent and the vegetables were crisp and fresh. The baguette is soft and crispy; a great vehicle for the meats and veggies. I wish the sandwich was packed a bit more with vegetables, but there's a generous amount of meat. Overall, Little Saigon Baguette has got banh mi (quite literally) in the bag.

The banh mi here is so much better than any other place in Chicago that I would regularly walk 10 minutes from my job on Argyle Street (the pho & banh mi mecca of the city!) to have lunch here. I 100% believe that anyone who comes to this place has heard of it via word of mouth (or yelp) because it's tucked away in an unassuming strip mall off an unassuming Red Line stop. I hope more people spread the word! If you don't know what to order, get the special (#2). Also consider one of the refrigerated desserts -- the taro pudding tastes like an ice cream I used to eat in China during summer visits throughout my childhood.

LSB is certainly a hidden gem. It's a little removed from Argyle St, in a plaza, so you wouldn't really think twice about this place if you were just walking by. Since moving to Chicago, I've been really craving quality, authentic banh mi that won't break the bank. After having been to a few places, I'm starting to think banh mi in Chicago are just smaller than what you find in Boston. What I loved about LSB was that they make their own french baguette! The sandwiches I got were super fresh, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Just how french baguette ought to be. I ordered the grilled beef (thit bo nuong) and the special which is essentially Vietnamese cold cuts. I found the banh mi itself was a little larger than other banh mi shops and cheaper also! The sandwich was filling and was not packed with pickled daikon/carrots/cilantro/jalepenos. Overall very happy I found Little Saigon Baguette!

We always get sandwiches here and their sandwiches are very good but the last time we went here the service was really bad. The young girl serving us was so rude. She got our order wrong and didnt even apologize or acknowledge us when we were talking to her. We order an hour in advance and when we got there we still had to wait 30 mins... never had such a bad experience there. Need to work kj customer service

Today on 11/14/2018 writing now at 5:50pm..50mins late from picking up my wife because of you guys. Today was the worst customer service I have ever received.. I drove there..arrived right before 4pm.. The little girl was there to take my order.. I order 2 #1 banh mi sandwiches.. My wife calls me to tell me what she wanted at 4:03pm.. After I was runged up.. The little girl behind the counter told me they ran out of bread and will take 20mins.. 20mind I can wait.. That should be around 420-4:25pm got till before I pick up my wife before traffic gets worst.. OK I wait.. I wait and wait and wait.. Another guy sitting next to me was there even longer than I was! The patience he ask is incredible.... It is now 4:30pm.. 4:35..4:40..no sandwich yet. A lady walks in at 4:45pm.. Got her sandwich before I did!!!!!! This is when I finally had enough and got up as I was boiling inside and the guy next to me was getting note angry as a lady who just walked on got her sandwich before we did... The manager *guy with a red hat. *finally gives me my sandwich at 4:49pm... I walk in there at 3:57pm.. It took 50mins coming in and out of there. No apologies .no sorry. Maybe throw on a extra sandwich to make up for it? Long story short...don't tell your customers it's going to take 20mins when in reality it's going to take twice as long!!! Yes this is absolutely BS service.. And I have pics of my wife calling me at the time I was already inside the store and time I receive my sandwich.. Shame on you guys.. Should of asked for a refund and left.

I've been back multiple times the food has been pretty solid. On this occasion, I've decided to try one of their drinks so I got the milk tea ($2.95) with boba ($0.50 extra). The tea was pretty standard but the boba was hard in the middle which was unexpected. I asked the drink to be remade but I suspect they just add more boba from another batch to the hard ones. So essentially a mix of hard and soft boba. I didn't want to impose and ask for it to be made again but pretty disappointed at the boba preparation. Summary: Boba: hard in the middle

If you're looking for good Vietnamese food, give this place a try. Service is a little slow at times, but their food makes up for it.
