We were craving some American Chinese food and heard this was the place to go. Came in for dinner on Valentine’s Day and there were plenty of tables. Started with the egg rolls, two large rolls. Good mix of shrimp, chicken, and veggies as well as a very noticeable hint of peanut butter which I enjoyed. Our two mains were shrimp fried rice and sesame chicken. The shrimp was good but the fried rice could have been a little more savory. The sesame chicken was super crispy and the exact flavor I look for. Good chicken to breading ratio with more than enough sauce. One thing to note, the food got cold pretty quickly imo which made the sesame chicken in particular not good. Lots of options ranging from Chinese to Japanese to Thai. Large portions at a good price, definitely worth the visit.

I’ve been here dozens of times and it’s always consistently great food and service at a very reasonable price. They’re my favorite go-to spot for sushi and Chinese in Chicago.

I went here for lunch and the restaurant was practically empty. I was sat at a table in the corner and brought a menu and water. Then I waited, and waited, and waited for nearly 30 minutes. Nobody ever came by to take my order. If it were busy I could be more forgiving, but there were only 3 groups of people in the restaurant including myself. They were being helped but I was being ignored. I gave up and left without ordering. I will not be going back.

I hadn't been here for years and forgot how amazing it is! We made a reservation for Christmas day at 11:45am. We were promptly seated while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. They have a large menu with lots of options so it took us a few minutes to decide and our server was patient with us. I ordered their Philly roll and I've been dreaming about it ever since. It is the best Philly roll I've ever had. The server and everyone working that day was super friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to come back!
Parking: There isn't usually parking available in this area. The paid spots fill up quickly and the side streets are usually packed and are permit zones - so prepare accordingly.

They are consistent and the food is delicious! I haven’t had one thing that I haven’t liked!

sad to report the food here has gone horribly downhill. i used to go here weekly and it was THE BEST quality pan asian around for years. now its more breaded than chicken, covered in massive amounts of sugar sauce, not healthy.

Listen, I ordered Lo Mein and the flavor was great! The rest was very lackluster. The vegetables were mushy, the Lo Mein noodles were mushy and falling apart! I mean, I tried to use my chopsticks and the noddles fell apart and it looked like they chopped the noodles into rice sized pieces. They just fell apart and I had to use a fork to finish eating them because they didn't stay together. I was disappointed. Again the flavor was good but the rest was totally a let down!

I had a really frustrating experience at this restaurant. We arrived at 6 p.m. on a Friday when the place was mostly empty. The hostess let us pick our table and then left after placing the menus on it. With two young kids, I needed a high chair, but before I could request one, the hostess was gone. Eventually when the waitress arrived and I asked for one, she seemed frustrated.
We placed our entire order, and though I ordered a drink, it was never refilled. I had to search for the waitress for 15 minutes before I could get a refill. I just gave up the next time. Water was warm and never checked on either. During this time, there were only six tables occupied. The hostess and bartender spent most of their time on their phones, and the waitress checked on us only once.
The potstickers were greasy and overly bready, and despite asking for spicy food, the meal was bland. At the end, it took another 15 minutes to get the waitress to come over, and I felt pressured into leaving a standard tip on their payment device despite receiving minimal service. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
We frequent this restaurant, and the food is usually better, so I suspect this issue was related to the waitress's handling of the order. I had never tried the potstickers before and won't order them again. We've had much better service at the Lakeview location, so I'm not surprised that there were only seven tables occupied on a Friday evening at this large Division location.
