Lizard's Liquid Lounge

Very friendly neighborhood lounge with live music, super cool quirky tiki and dark artwork vibe. Drinks are excellent and very reasonably priced and the bar staff is amazing. Several tables put together to accommodate larger groups and easy street parking on the side street. Lots of board games and cards including Catan. Dog friendly. Definitely one of the best bars in Chicago.

Lizards is the best bar in the neighborhood. I love the decor.. fun skeleton and skulls joking around..fake blood deipping on the bar mirror year round and fantastic art at all times. There's no food but you can bring your own, bingo, karaoke, popcorn and bands... Always the go to.

We’ve always had a blast there. murray is the best. However the new sat night Karaoke host is absolutely wretched. She was rude, snotty and acted like everyone was annoying her. We were afraid to request songs. Big bummer because that has always been our go to spot. Missing Clyde for sure!!!

I loved the atmosphere and Bonnie is absolute best! Quick beer pour, great price and such an authentic quirky place) enjoyed every second here and will come back to listen to some local bands!

Came from Houston, Tx to visit my long distance boyfriend. I stumbled upon this bar after we had Valentine’s Day dinner. Love the vibe and bartenders. I felt so welcome and safe here. If I ever move to Chi this will be my go to place. Long islands were on point. Met a few regulars here and they were so friendly. Miss Chicago already. ❤️

Free popcorn and reasonably priced

This is a great bar. Love that they’re dog friendly, I feel much more comfortable going to a bar by myself when I’m able to bring my dog. All the bartenders have been cool, and the history of the bar itself is pretty cool too.

Came in at 230 am and the bartender was delighted ito see me even with a full bar. That's few and far between nowadays. This place is awesome. Very friendly.

It's my favorite Northside bar. Fun atmosphere, cool artwork, friendly bartenders great drinks. We saw a great Chicago band Dhamba 8 that has members from The Ides of March and Koko Taylor's band. They don't serve food but they do have a popcorn machine which is adorable.
